Re-do all the items and prices in the following areas:

    Note:
Suggested changes for other ways to optimize the economy.
Note 2: Prices removed for security reasons (admins will set them as they fell fit).

/warp shop (Providing a balanced mechanic for the economy by allowing players to make money a bit easier by "working hard" and selling their items for some meebles, and providing a better potential meeble sink at the same time).

    You must be a socialist.
Edit: sorry that was rude let me add some more. Letting the staff have control of core items value is a TERRIBLE thing for an eco server. The less items they control the value of the better.
(Not a threat) but if something like this was to be implemented I will quit.

Redoing shops would be a nice thing but if you do redo them, it should be done correctly. I don't know how much stone bricks go for in /shop currently, but if I recall correctly, stone just costs .5 or 1 each? You'd have to make way lower prices for these items to meet people's demands in /warp shop. Kinda denotes /vshop in a sense that there'll be no use for it. Vshop, you're almost guaranteed to find something cheaper from /warp shop. Regarding your statement of this being a way to let players make money from selling, you could just also make money from selling to people or in vshop, but then again its a pain in the butt to make money off that way. If I recall, the sell option was removed for a reason to all chests in /warp shop since reset (?). I'd love for it to be added back so new players would be given a chance to make money from their /jobs and work. Also, villager eggs are a -1 from me. Its a way people can make money off. Thats the reason why Klutch removed them when Court added them.

Other than that, it'd be a neutral vote for them to re-doing shop items (changing only a few certain items) and a +1 for them adding the sell option seeing how its hard to make money off today's eco in meep. As well as a +1 to adding the option to buy things from /warp farming. I'll be a +1 for the note shop idea too since it'd be a good way to make some money for many from stupid dis notes that most people barely ever use.

This is already on the server! I am just suggesting to make it useful instead of items/prices that no one uses or cares about (shop stats would be useful to determine perfect prices but I doubt staff is willing to analyze this or give it to me for analysis).

vShop and an Admin shop have two distinct and different purposes on a server. In fact, if done properly the Admin shop would strengthen and stabilize the /vShop and /chestshops of players.

This is exactly how an economy works! Do you think the US or any government currency just does as it pleases, no all governments implement rules and regulations to maximize the value of the currency. This is especially important in a virtual economy with a limitless supply running at max output all the time and a very small limited demand. Also, we are trying to drive and inspire a player base so having a set price range (from the staff) for items is better than having everything cost either 0 (zero) or 1,000,000 mebles (from the players).

That is the whole point people are supposed to make and spend money. This specifically would do that, and I'm pretty sure they were removed because the prices were very messed up, not because they are bad things (and KlutchDecals has not had the time to put them back or work out the correct price). Note: villager eggs are a 100% meeble sink for the economy and should be implemented quickly, just like several other items.

I think the one for farming and dis notes should be implemented, the thread as a whole is something I’d like to see but I think the ones for optimal use would be farming and dis notes +1

They have /warp farm. That makes the items that can be created at a mass due to farms worth something instead of 0 meebles.
They only control the price for very few other items such as leather and somewhat for diamonds. But those only have a buy or a sell option, not both.

Those are extreme exaggerations that are not true at all. The only items in the game are the ones that can be very easily farmed such as sugarcane cactus etc. And if anything they should lower the selling prices at /warp farm due to how easily it is to profit from them with the amount of effort put through.

And there are no items that are too expensive due to staff not controlling the prices. (There is nothing worth 1million meebles).

Price controls are only used in rare circumstances.
The price of Phones for example are not controlled by the government and are instead controlled by competition and demand for a product. Most, if not all, successful online games that have an economy aspect let the players control the market with supply and demand. There is absolutely no reason at all that we cannot do the same.

Ever hear of the Obama Phone? The government does interact more than you realize! Obama Phone, but let's not get off topic in this thread. Let just stick to the suggestion.

Some prices at "/Warp shop" could be changed, but I think the prices should remain high enough that v-shop not only is better priced almost at all times but so the v-shop prices have a good amount of wiggle room.

There should not be be buy shops at "/Warp farming" and no sell shops at "/warp shop". These were removed at the restart to allow more markets to flourish. One effect of this change is it forces new players to learn how to use the v-shop and player-made chest shops, creating more player interaction.

I like the ability to sell back disguise notes, but there may be two problems with it. First, the vote crate's prizes are being changed and may remove disguise notes. Second, the staff may want disguise notes to be worth practically nothing.

@Hornemans , I understand the suggestion because this was my first thought when I saw the shop right after the reset, but I believe the shop has remained extremely overpriced for a reason. I see the shop now as a last resort option for players instead of a normal place to buy items. Some items probably should be re-priced, but I can't say for certain how much they should be changed.

It is a terrible idea to have admin shops for most non-rare items. It creates artificial price floors and price ceilings in an economy towns server and allows for people to "farm" items e.g. iron bar, gold bar, slime ball, farm items. Once players farm the items on a server with admin shops for everything, they can then sell them all at a fixed rate without having to pay the price of flooding the supply on vShop where they would have to wait for an actual buyer.

    Big -1

National debt of the United States $ 20,000,000,000,000 (more then 100% GDP)

Selling to adminshops -> more money from nowhere -> meebles overflow -> Devaluation and Inflation of eco

    Or

Selling to Adminship -> making people happy by making money -> more people spending money to buy things from others/adminshops -> Thriving Economy (instead of a stagnant/dying economy) -> buying cool items/effects from adminship -> a balanced economy.

Taking care of the economy is a full-time job, not just something you "let be" and "wish/hope" at works out for the best. Your inaccurate evaluation could be true if you sold Cobblestone for 1,000 meebles each sure, so don't be dumb and get someone that knows what they are doing to be in charge of it.

There is nothing that has been posted that has convinced me that this would ever be a good idea.
Please don't make meeps economy run by the staff members. Aka communism

Huh? You make no sense! I was referring too what you said about 99% of you guys playing an ECONOMY server wrong. So perhaps you can put some input on how to make the ECONOMY server ACTUALLY have an economy (like the suggestion way up at the top of the tread).
