/suggest command

as meepcraft's unofficial idea machine, i think there should be a /suggest command that automatically posts or creates a new draft of your suggestion to your linked forums account when you have an idea in game so it can be voted on

 

+1 This could be good. Certainly not first priority on staff's to-do list, but is a good suggestion. Maybe it could work like /modreq?

 

Howdo you expect to link this to a forum account?
Why can't you just get on forums? Or write it down? Send yourself a /mail ?

edit: for auto posts, how do you stop spam

 

This isn't feasible. You'd have too many idiots making either the same suggestion, or redundant suggestions like "can we get factions?" How do you expect to link forum acc to ingame acc? People who are going to be using the /suggest command obviously have suggestions that aren't worth implementing because they'd feel obliged to sign onto the forums and create a thread.

Most people without forums really don't know anything about meep and are unable to come up with realistic suggestions

 

-1 a /suggest commands just undermines the purpose and use of the forums. Also, there is no room for community input, easy access to suggestions, or organizing. All of these functions are easily accessible from the forums. Plus if the suggestor really cares about the server and truly wants to make a suggestion, they won't have an issue going to meepcraft.com. It's quite simple, you login/create an account and then you post. Bam!

Edit: Even if this was accepted it would require a ton of work to intergrate the server-forums link. At this time with all the big number issues post reset it would not happen for quite some time. This particular feature would be a "useless" addon (in my opinion). Plus like I said above there is already a simple way to suggest things.
