Making a hostile mob farm in the sky, I got no spawns, while monsters would spawn on the surface. Minecraft doesn't restrict spawning to a certain y-level (for most mobs), but it seems that meep does. What are these levels for each mob?

You are experiencing the principal of subchunks. As most people know, Minecraft worlds are saved as individual chunks consisting of a sixteen block wide, sixteen block long, two hundred fifty-five block wide sections. However, the engine also breaks chunks down into 16 block tall subchunks. Part of the spawning mechanics for monsters means spawn rates are higher in lower subchunks of the world.

It isn't so much of a Meep issue, but the decreased spawnrates already in place on Meep making this vanilla mechanic more obvious.
