Sorted List of pwarps and towns

This was suggested before, but was denied to to the fact that there are over 400 pwarps and that only fir first few pages or the topmost/bottommost would be actually used by the majority of people.

 

I don't think those pwarps are gonna be any more noticed if they are sorted by popularity or even randomly.

 

In theory, this is a good idea. But it just won't work.

I think there are to many pwarps maybe a top 10 or something but there are so many unused and I don't think it would work -1

It's a great idea, however, showing the top 50 or 10 would be more manageable. Sorted by popularity.

And like @Energy_Assass1n said, it might increase and encourage player interaction with popular warps, since being on the list would motivate them to make their warp better.

/pwarp list shows a list of pwarps you own, but other than that a list doesn't exist

I always thought that this should be a thing. I hate having to guess pwarp names to find a good store.

People would still go to pwarps that are less popular but advertised in chat. All that the list will change is that the more popular pwarps will get more business, and all others will stay the same.

You also didn't see my other point. There are over 400 warps. No one is gonna try 400 warps. Some of the warps will have bad names. A lot of them will be misleading or trolly because the list exists.

 

/towny top is a list of the top ten most populated towns in the specific towny world.

I think that a list with the top pwarps based on visits per week, so that only the serious pwarps are included. I also doubt that many people will create a misleading pwarp just because the list exists. If someone wanted to make a misleading pwarp, they would do it anyway and advertise it in chat.

Popular pwarps wouldn't really be affected by this.

Everyone knows /pwarp shops, /pwarp store, and others but no one knows some noobs pwarp that he doesn't advertise

If you require my reasoning, torchic, here it is.
The idea of a list of pwarp is good in theory, but due to the sheer amount of pwarps and the constant change of them, it would be hard to maintain. You can change the name of your pwarp at will, after all, so a list would be confusing because some change name. Obviously most of the major ones don't change, but the idea of this is to promote the less-popular pwarps while owner cannot advertise.

 

With the amount of pwarps on the server a list would not be navigatable. To scroll through a list this big, up to 4000 pwarps, would be too much. If there were a lot less pwarps this would be a great idea but since there are so many we need to deny this.
