So, we've all been at that point where you need a house. However, you don't just want any house, you want a nice house. But, wouldn't that take too long to build? The answer is no with this simple solution!

    Finished Results:
    2015-12-13_03.02.01.png

Step 1: (Find a nice open area with at least a 7x7 flat area and build the following structure)
    2015-12-13_02.04.24.png
Note: This the stone brick wall is 5x5

Step 2: (Build a 3 block high wall using oak wood planks. Cut out space for a door and windows)

Step 3: (Build around the structure like so)
    2015-12-13_02.24.19.png
Now your build takes up a 7x7 area (Expand in the corners with the oak logs like shown)

Step 4: (Add stone brick stairs to the sides as shown below. Note: this is the beginning of the roof)
    2015-12-13_02.27.54.png
NOTE: Stairs should go over the edges by 1 block as shown above.

Step 5: (Build structure shown below out of stone bricks and stone brick stairs)
    2015-12-13_02.31.32.png
Repeat structure on other side. This will be the beginning of our roof

Step 6: (Begin laying down dark oak stairs and dark oak planks across the identical structures as shown below)
    2015-12-13_02.37.43.png
Our house is beginning to come together!

Step 7: (Cut out 3 blocks in the middle of the bottom layer of dark oak planks as shown below. Continue to do this on both sides so that they are identical)
    2015-12-13_02.40.53.png
This will look better in the next step.

Step 8: (Add the following structure plus glass blocks as windows. Proceed to do this on the other side)
    2015-12-13_02.45.05.png
This may be hard to see. NOTE: There are dark oak fences at each end.

Step 9: (add dark oak planks from the inside as shown below)
    2015-12-13_02.48.29.png
*Should look like this. Proceed to repeat this step on the other side

Step 10: (Add windows and more detail to the roof as shown below)

If only more people used the forums, then people could at least copy this and have a decent-looking house. Instead they have wood squares. . .

Imo, wood squares requires a lot of building talent ;)

Not the wood squares I see every day. Most towns make me wish this was a factions server so I could burn down the embarrassments to the land around them.
