Since the release of the new gamma server I have set up multiple zombie curing labs and got a lovely collection of god villagers. This includes a 10 mending villager, 5 emerald infinity villager and many others like cheap unbreaking. I have a collection of almost all the minecraft enchants. It's no secret you can trade 8 pumpkins for 1 emerald and pumpkins aren't worth much and you can make huge farms. I have made over 1 million meebles from enchanted books and every book can be found for less than 5k. Enchants like mending are amazing and my suggestion is to lock all villagers trades for the time being. Yes people will go omg I spent 20 hours getting these villagers, well I spent over 20 hours with these villagers and accept that they need to be removed. The book economy is huge currently and everyone is walking around in god armor because of it. If you vote for 1 week you can buy all the books you need for god armor (well almost).

I also think that nerfing the end temples is needed as I myself have introduced 100's of diamonds to the economy from looting them. As well as finding good gear really easily with mending and all it is super op.

I understand people will not want to remove villagers but I think it is needed almost as much as #bringblink2meep! This will also make the removal of mending unnecessary as it will become very valuable.

if there was a way to just lock the villager trades until further notice when the economy grows so you don't lose all of your 20+ hours put into villagers like me. However if there isn't a way to do this the economy should come over 10 players hard work.

+1, villagers introduce an insane amount of money into the economy, they should be disabled until we figure out how to nerf them.

With the recent changes to /warp shop, no meebles are getting introduced into the economy--as villagers manufacture more emeralds and ebooks, their respective values decrease, and players are willing to pay less money to buy these items.

The only reason to nerf villagers is to keep prices of enchanted items inflated.

They don't introduce any meebles. Currently, they're the main stimulant of the gamma Eco. Removing them would be a disaster

The reason ebooks have maintained a high price is because of the fact that villagers are simply not available to your average joe. The amount of time and effort it takes to track down a god librarian or create one for yourself isn't an option for most players, and they end up buying ebooks from other players. Nerfing villagers at all is simply not needed right now

Villagers are a balancing act, for sure. Left alone, they are incredibly overpowered, because they never despawn, can basically breed infinitely, and basically just ruin everything. However, the removal of the shop changes that, as well as the breeding nerf.

The items they trade in are keeping the economy moving. The Ebook market is one of the only industries where people can make a living, currently.

Removing villagers will make the economy dependent solely on what people get for themselves. All money will come in through minigames, and all items through people's own work, rather than purchasing and selling goods.

Sorry for being ambiguous, but I meant that the new changes to /warp shop have caused inflation to slow significantly to the point where it's no longer a huge concern.

I feel like the only people who are making money from this have enough already it is hard to get into the market now. Most people you find selling books are on baltop.
Yes another solution is needed for sure

+1 however wouldn't it be better if everyone got infinite money because then we can be the largest economy server in the world, literally

Inflation has never been a concern. A growing Baltop number does not effect a player's gameplay experience.

Slow Inflation would be good. Then players have extra money and will be willing to spend their money. Notice how much less transactions are happening now. The economy is already deflating.

If, by inflation, you mean the steady flow of meebles into the system at a rate which allows players to have an excess of money compared to the amount of work they put in, then yes. Otherwise, If it takes more effort to make the money required to buy the items than to go get those items themselves, they simply will go get those items for themselves.
