Remove "Post new thread" button in Staff recruitment.

First off, this button allows random players to post random threads in this category, not that many people do it. But the one thing that people are abusing is the writing of staff apps.To create a staff application I do believe that you need a certain amount of likes, posts or something(Don't know exactly), what people are doing is bypassing the "Helper application click here"(If its not available for them), copying a format and posting it like that. This allows any forum member to post an application. If we removed or limited the button to staff use only we would reduce the number of horrible applications we get from random noobs.

I don't see why not, unless a Mod+ Is writing a guide for staff guides etc..

I don't think we should go that far; what if someone made an alt to post a ban appeal, or a noob caught a legit hacker and wanted to report it? However, I am in agreement for the implementation of this system for staff recruitment threads.

 

We don't even know if this is in the Xenforo capabilites
