Let me start out by stating that I don't know exactly how much server hosting costs. However, the server rarely exceeds 200 players online at any given time. If we cap server space at around 400, as opposed to the current 1000, the server might be able to save some money.

Doesn't work like that for big servers. You manually set an amount, and that depends on what the setup can hold. You'd still be running the same machines the same way regardless if it was 1000, or 200.

-1, as I am understanding, Meep has unlimited slots, so it would cost no less to lower them, and if someone livestreams, then everyone will join the server, and that if we don't have enough slots?

Denied. We would lower the player slots if it affected the server a lot, but it doesn't. As of right now it does not matter too much.
