Rankless noobs

I hate people assuming that because I don't have a rank, I am a noob and an idiot. I think people who have actively played the server for a certain amount of time, but don't have enough money to donate, should get a special tag where the rank tag normally goes in chat. Maybe it could say "Regular" or "Veteran" or something.

 

I can't think of any good this would do, I can, however, think of a ton of bad things it might possibly do ie

• Cause confusion
• Put an unnecessary extra workload on the staff
• Is really just not needed overall

The purpose of ranks is for donations only. We don't need other ranks because that is not our priority when it comes to this server.

 

So what you're saying is "give us money or you're worth nothing"?

 

What I am saying is that we don't give ranks to people because they deserve it. The server accepts donations and in return you get perks. There is no need to have a non-donation perk if that is not why we have ranks.

 

"Don't give things to people just because they deserve it. Make them pay us for it."

 

It's not paying us, it is a donation.

 

It's a donation that people give in order to receive a reward. They give you money, you give them perks. It's paying to get the perks. It's not a donation if you're getting something out of it. Very few people would "donate" if they didn't get donor perks out of it.

Yes, but some ranked people, no matter how much I prove to them I'm not an idiot, automatically assume that I am incompetent and know nothing. Take Adlovesdogs for example.
