Rank tokens

This was suggested before, basically a token that says you have ten dollars in credits. Each credit will cost 1 mil (so it doesn't take away from rank sellers) and be redeemed for 10$ per token.

I think using a more expensive token system for ranks would create a way to take money out of the economy and give a use to the new meebles most of us got.

The token can ONLY be used for ranks.

-1, what happens if there is an error, and we can't track why the token got lost? People would be extremely upset.

 

What about having them in a rank bin? Then when the tokens are bought you write so in a book and toss the book in the rank bin (a chest). Besides people buy fireworks. They will be upset if they lose anything they buy.

 

Exactly, I do not see the need to add to that, what problem are we currently experiencing that rank tokens would solve?

 

Inflation, but really meebles to ranks wouldn't be such a great idea since it would just give an excuse to push rank seller's prices to close to 1m per $10 which really hurts new players itching to buy ranks with meebles, especially if they aren't sure if they want to spend real money so early

 

What is a rank seller supposed to do with this token? Turn it in? How do they know how much the token is worth? If VIP is selling for 1M, why would a rank seller take less? If one had the meebles to buy the token, why couldn't they just buy the rank? Less steps in the process.

 

Well that would be at the incentive of spending less money for the same goal but these tokens are like taking player to player transactions and making them player to server which the whole concept of meep is against

 

I mean, ultimately, if the server is selling tokens, the value would represent the value presented by the server, which is not 1M per $10. It's $30 for 1M.

 

but that would eventually destroy rank sellers who rarely go for the suggested 500k to $10 or force them to go lower than 333k per $10

 

Then maybe rank tokens sold by the server isn't the best idea.

 

-1 the point of DONATING, as it says in the actual word is to donate and help out the server that way.
If you would do this people would use it instead of buying ranks of other persons because it would be a way everyone knows about, and if they do know both ways it is a safer way.

 

maybe these can be an event prize that players sell/trade and then people can collect them and redeem them vs a meeble prize for events

 

i think its a +1, but it should be used from the donating section of the website, so username tracking is enabled, every token is the same, and $10 only, they should be given out in the hourly chest idea, but 1 in every 24. this gets rid of all said problems, +` indeed.

There's a clear flaw here; the server needs dollars to survive, not a million meebles. Like, the server doesn't get any money from this at all. They'd just be giving out ranks in return for meebles.

 

To me this idea just makes things more confusing. It makes donating issues a pain for staff and overall just isn't needed.

What if a VIP person accidentaly bought the VIP rank THREE TIMES. Then they will only get Premium, so the extra 10$ = gone. The rank tokens could give you the $10 back so if you bought another rank token you can rank up to exclusive.

 

Or exchange it for meebles/fireworks/heads.

Really? That's all you have to say? "Sucks for you, you screwed up your donation."

Honestly, this has really changed my consideration on donating.
