Introduction:

Hi there, my name is Stephen, or most commonly known as Quaddy in-game. At the moment I am a sophomore in high-school, taking honor's courses along with other extracurricular activities including Model UN, Congress, and Cancer Awareness Club. I also enjoy playing sports, spending time with family and friends, and listening to music. The sports I play include baseball, football, and Ultimate Frisbee. When I am not playing sports or at meetings for the various clubs I am involved in, I am usually gaming. I started with the Playstation 2, enjoyed the game cube, and later moved on to the Xbox 360. After a while many of my friends made the merge to PC gaming, and I of course came along and I have no regrets. One of the first games I purchased was Minecraft and I loved it from the day I bought it. Similarly to Minecraft, ever since I discovered Meepcraft- I have loved it. Being a part of the community is truly a feeling that can be compared to no other. With this, I give you my helper application.


Why should I be helper?

The primary goal of a Helper at the end of the day is to help the community of Meepcraft. Whether it be by answering questions raised in shout and in mod requests, or enforcing the Meepcraft rules in order to keep the server running smoothly. An important part of applying for a position I believe is to understand it, and I understand and in my eyes am capable of assuming the role of Helper due to the following reasons;


Knowledge: I am familiar and have memorized most if not all Towny/Skyblock commands. I am also familiar with the usage of HawkEye, and ReportRts(/claim, /check) and due to this, minimal command training would be required. I am also quite aware of the rules and regulations of Meep, and am glad to say that I have not been kicked/banned once to date. Having been in a staff position, not on Meep of course but on other servers on various platforms, I understand and respect the staff greatly.


Work Ethic: One great aspect of a constantly growing community like Meepcraft is the new faces that appear every day. These new players are the foundation for even bigger growth in the Meep community and it’s crucial to provide them with a great experience on Meep. This is what drives me every day to assist players in shout and donate what I can to new players who are just looking to have some fun with friends and call Meep home.


Dedication: Although I have only been a part of the Meep community for a few months, I can happily say Meepcraft is the only server for me. I have spent countless days and hours mining in the depths of the wild with the hopes that someday I would become a millionaire, and I was able to achieve that goal. Due to the fact that I am a full time student, I am restricted to a few hours on Meepcraft each weekday, but I make an attempt each day to actively assist players both in-game and on the forums with any problems that may arise while also being engaged in discussions that occur in-game/on forums as well.


Activity: As said above, each day I do my best to spend a few hours in-game helping users while also of course having a fantastic time mining. While doing this, I am also always on TeamSpeak- even if I am not actively playing on the server. I also quite actively browse the forums, and while my post count isn't the highest, I do feel that quality over quantity is important when considering this.


Personal Qualities: Although this isn't something that is widely touched on applications I would like to point out a few of my qualities and or traits. Day in and day out the staff deal with situations that will certainly require a level of patience that not everyone may possess. Having worked with children in the past, and having quite a few young cousins that I tend to from time to time; I find myself to be an extremely patient person. Over the past few years I have also grown in to a level-headed and mature individual which I feel will allow me to excel in this position.


Weaknesses:

One weakness that I have been trying to overcome is my quiet and reserved personality. Because of this some players may not know of me, and if they do possibly very little. Expanding on what I said in my previous statement; I am actively working on becoming more outgoing within the community and I look forward to discovering the many incredible personalities and individuals in the Meepcraft community.

Another issue that may arise is my schedule; as stated in my Intro, I am involved in an array of extracurricular activities which can sometimes be fairly time consuming. While every day I try to get on for at least a few hours, because of my schedule on weekdays, my time may be limited on some days. Contrary to this, on the weekends I am most often free from these activities as meetings and events are held on weekdays so I will be able to dedicate my time to Meep.



Conclusion:

MeepCraft is an excellent server and I wish to take the next step in doing my part for the MeepCraft community. I am extremely dedicated to providing users with the best possible experience on Meep and I have no doubt that with the qualities and traits I possess that I will excel in the position of Helper.
