Increasing the ownership of spawners to citizens will greatly improve the spawner economy and plus, give the citizens another benefit. I'm not saying we should let citizen ranked players mine spawners and get the spawner, but rather just let them own and place the spawners. Now to make this work, meepcraft is going to have to open it's /warp shop to include all types of spawners for donators to sell to.
This a) Forces citizens to buy spawners from donators, giving donators another market to sell to, b) sets a specific selling price for donators to sell their spawners to. I see no reason to prevent citizens from owning spawners, and if /warp shop is tweaked right, it can even encourage people to donate.
After all, the goal of meepcraft is to A) make money (it's true, suck it up) and B) provide a fun server for people to play on. Also, I ask you people to please state WHY this idea won't work, not the dumb "-1 It'll take a benefit away from donor" I'm pretty sure you guys are smart enough to back up your opinions.

-1. This is an elite perk. It takes away incentive to donate.

Will it though? did you read the incentive replacing it?
"This a) Forces citizens to buy spawners from donators, giving donators another market to sell to, b) sets a specific selling price for donators to sell their spawners to." From what I'm reading on meepcraft, a lot of donators are having trouble making meebles, except for Ultimates+( they get a majority of their cashby buying ranks for players) Also the spawner market is failing horribly already, and with all the public grinders around, players don't need that incentive anymore. The only thing you would donate now for is the placing of spawners for events, (which only elite+s typically create because they have the meebles for it) or being able to mine spawners (which I'm making the point that elite+s should keep)
or did you automatically downvote it because of the title?

Great idea, you must be a flat out genius, while we're at it, let's discuss about how only letting elite+s own spawners is such a great idea.
    A) With spawners, elites+s can farm experience and always have enchant armor (farming experienced is obliterated from public grinders, and /fix makes it so elite+s don't have to re-enchant their stuff that often)
    B) With Spawners, it gives an incentive to donate (does it really? How many elite+s have you seen parading around the meepcraft server yelling out 'I'm so glad I donated! Now I can mine spawners" The real problem is the LACK OF benefits for donors. Meepcraft needs to step up it's game, but restricting spawners is more likely to piss off new players instead of attracting them
    C) Without spawners, people won't donate for elite, supreme, and Ultimate! More and more players are choosing to pay meebles to climb the donator ladder rather than actually paying for said ranks irl money, and what happens when the people who are buying people ranks leave? Where will we be then? Plus, I'm not suggesting we take away the ability to mine spawners, that should stay restricted to elite+
    D) Lastly, for some people, thinking it it will decrease the value of spawners! Not if in /warp shop (in elite+ shops) they set a sale price, this is more likely to make elite+ richer in meebles rather than hurt them financially. Those meebles will then be put into events for all players, making the server more interesting -> increasing the amount of players playing on meepcraft -> bringing in more donators.
    E) People will demand refunds from the server if we take away spawners from elite+! Here's the thing, people like that tend to poisin a server and drive away new players rather than attract them. After all, you donators donated because you loved the server, not to feel superior to other players with your benefits?
Do you honestly believe that restricting spawner ownership to only elite+ with benefit the server in the long run? or the short run until new players get fed up that they can't enjoy a basic addition that other servers offer (which by the way do just fine)?

Insults not needed in a discussion.

No idea what point you're trying to get across here.

I have seen many people donate for elite to get spawners.
Yeah, the real problem is the lack of benefits to donors, correct! Which is why mining spawners remains a donator perk. I mean, if you realise donators are at a lack of benefits, why are you wanting to remove one of the major benefits?
And what do new players do when they're pissed off? "Mommy I wily want tis pls pls oh pls!"

There will always be a need for meebles, and that means there will always be rank sellers. Doesn't matter if the person getting the rank uses meebles, there are still real USD donated on behalf of the account.

There will always be undercutters, no matter what the price at /warp shop is spawner prices are going to be the same as they are now.
Even if all elites+ suddenly made a ton of money, who says they are going to hold 'events for all players'? If 1 or 2 hold your so called events, it will make about 0 difference to the population of Meepcraft.

So people who are careful with their money tend to poison a server? And don't start that donation bs again, everyone who donated did it for the perks.
Now you're gonna come running and say it's a donation blah blah Fuzzlr himself has stated that he recognises it as payment for a service, aka pay to win.

Well here, you're the one thinking in the short run. There will always be new players. There will always be people who 'donate' to receive the perks.

Didn't mean to insult, I use sarcasm to make a point, but I understand it does come out an insulting sorry about that.
The point I'm getting across is that spawners are typically used in grinders on most servers, which in turn get used for experience and drops. With so many public grinders out there (/pwarp grinderpark, /pwarp guardians are two) there's no reason for someone to donate to get those spawners to create into grinders to get said experience and mob drops. Donators also can just simply /fix their damaged enchanted armor, or easily just re-enchant new diamond armor (Which is easier to get thanks to /warp dungeon)
You forget one of the major things about servers, there constantly needs to be a stream of new players to a server to replace the ones that leave because they got bored. When players get "pissed off" they don't act like babies, I don't know where you got that from, they LEAVE! and last time I checked, players leaving a server is bad, unless I'm incorrect, which in that case, please give me the correct answer. Those players then: A) Leave to play on other servers, B) Complain about it on forums where meepcraft is advertised or C) Do what I do and try to offer suggestions to improve the server they loved months ago. Also, I'm working on a list of donator perks by going to other servers, seeing what works, and then coming back here with new suggestions.
I don't know where you are going with that, please explain further. Your reasoning is based on a blind assumption that as long as people want meebles, they're willing to pull out US dollars, which isn't true. I've seen some server fall because the rank sellers left, (Diamcraft was a prime example of this, which reminds me, I need to go check that server again)

"There will always be undercutters, no matter what the price at /warp shop is spawner prices are going to be the same as they are now.
Even if all elites+ suddenly made a ton of money, who says they are going to hold 'events for all players'? If 1 or 2 hold your so called events, it will make about 0 difference to the population of Meepcraft."
I have no idea what you're going on about this, the population of meepcraft is determined of how many people are enterained on meepcraft. Players naturally get excited via events and challenges. Any newbies see these events and want to stay around for the next event , or participate in the current one. They then stay around to keep playing the server that keeps them entertained. This is simple cause and effect of the online world dude. People stay around when they are entertained by something.
Payment for a service isn't what I call "pay to win" but eh, you can call it that (it's impossible to 'win" in minecraft, or at least meepcraft. This isn't a pvp server where donators get huge pvp perks, they get more minigame perks, which if it was "pay to win" most players wouldn't play in it for the donators are too "overpowered." paying for a service is like paying for first class of a plane, while paying to win buying your own plane to get to your destination faster, (If this doesn't make sense, it's most likely me) Also people who are "careful with their money" don't donate to servers, they invest in real life things, like couches, trips to places, things that they can look back and say "dang I'm happy I did that!"
"Well here, you're the one thinking in the short run. There will always be new players. There will always be people who 'donate' to receive the perks."
No evidence that makes me wrong, or you right, elaborate dude. How do you "know" that there will be new players and donators? Unless you can pull 50 new regular players out of you sleeve, you point doesn't make any sense.

Yes, and the people who own those grinders (the spawners) make money from it. We don't need every other player starting up grinders.
Spawners are used for more than grinders anyhow, example; Making villagers.

There will always be an influx of new players, that's the beauty of advertising on the internet.
I also wasn't trying to state that they act like babies, I simply used the scenario of a pre teen (which the vast majority of Meepcraft's population are). If a kid wants to donate, they will find a way. They will not get pissed off that spawners are a donator perk and go to another server, because you know what? It doesn't matter what server they go to, there will always be donators who have better perks than them.

It is not blind assumption, it is fact. There are always people willing to spend money in return for virtual perks, including the purchase of meebles, which is best done through the selling of ranks.

And you prove my point. You are a prime example, but are the 800 other elites? How many player held events take place every day? Sure, there will be a few, however the way you stated it was along the lines of 'large sums of meebles being put into events by players', which is simply put as false.

Pay to win is the literate definition of buying advantages.
    http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=pay-to-win
You say citizens wouldn't play if the donators would be too over powered? One word: kitpvp.
Being careful with your money has nothing to do with what you buy. If I buy a couch I really like and that I think is worth it, I'm being careful with my money. If I buy a rank on a mine craft server I really like and I think is worth it, I'm being careful with my money.

I understand your point. However, more people of the elite rank would feel cheated on. Really, I think that bumping it down to exclusive is a good idea, imo.
but -1 for it to everyone.

+1. For all of you saying that you should just donate to get elite. Not everyone has that type of money. I'm lucky I got premium. I want access to spawners but I don't have $60 to spend. And before you say 'then if they don't have $60 to spend how do they afford a computer?' It's still possible to own one and not have $60 to spend.

Edit: Bump it down to one of the more affordable ranks. Exclusive or Premium.

I understand what you mean, because I cannot donate with my money (basicly i dont have PayPal). But as Mockingbae said, you can get someone to buy it for you and pay him in meebles (like i did).

I get how you think that giving cits spawners would be great, but there are some things you have to consider:
1: There are a couple Elites+ that donated for spawners, they would be very angry if suddenly cits had them.
2: You claim that it would help the economy. I doubt it because with this, there would be a spawner inflation and decrease the price of spawners.
3: Finally, there would be a LOT more x-Ray because unlike the Elites, the cits don't have to worry about wasting their money, and when personal grinders become popular, cits would stop at nothing to get spawners.

    For these reasons, -1
