New addition to the towny plugin

At home we are trying to sell our house, my parents are discussing whether to use a real estate agent or not. This brought up the idea of a new addition to the towny plugin.
What if there was a command that showed all the towns that were for sale? This could be toggled by the owner of the town and perhaps be even able to put a description of the town that is for sale (not in the town board).

A beautiful town with 40 residents and a 9 plot spawn. (Can be customized by the mayor)

This can reduce the amount of chat spam of people selling and buying towns in the /tr chat.
This is simply an idea and please post more suggestions to help further this idea.

One question for you; would this be a combined effort over Alpha and Beta? Or just Alpha, and just Beta?

 

It would be on both beta and alpha but separate listings.

 

This was suggested a long time ago and was denied.

You have many forms of advertisement... Use those.

 

+/- I like the idea but at the same time I don't really think its needed being that there isn't much spam with selling towns. Or at least I don't see a lot of it.

This is a really good idea. It would quickly and conveniently show towns for sale. If a little more work were to be put into this, a price could be put on the town so that it could be bought even when the player is offline. A small convenience tax of something like 3% could even be added to the seller(although then other restrictions would have to be put in place to avoid cheating the system) to draw money from the economy.

 

+1 i love this idea i use to always buy towns make them look nicer then sell them but it would all ways be annoying to find them and sale them

 

Denied, you can make advertisements to sell a town in /tr or here on the forums. Good idea though!
