Nether portal traps.

Right now, alot of people have to handle with being trapped in creative, how it works:
Someone wants you to tpa to them. Once you send the tpa or accept their, you will be stuck in a nether portal, in it you cant open inventory, chat or ofc break it.
To escape it you have to contact staff using discord, forums etc. and wait for help.
There is a rule not allowing players to trap others, however they still dont get anything.

To prevent it, maybe make a plugin that doesnt allow build nether portals in creative, or just make creative nether portals tp you back to creative spawn or /spawn.

Don't accept random /tpa requests obviously.
I guess if you are dumb enough to do so then you can use minechat or something that sets your login world to spawn.

 

Not everyone knows about minechat, and not everyone has it. And 90% of people would accept a /tpa if they would be asked to check out something.

I guess that's 90% idiots. Like really? You won't even ask them what is it that they are showing? Considering the amount of nether trapping these past few weeks, people should be more cautious about accepting random /tpas

Read the sentence I'm referring to. Also, it was just an example. I highly doubt that you don't know anything about minechat or to an app similar when you can craft a workbench in game.

Nether portals will be removed in Creative, though we might not update the rules, any attempts to trap a player will be dealt with common sense, and a ban.
