Nerf voting + make grinding more profitable

I make usually at least 10K from voting daily. Because I almost always get the 4.5K (from 4 votes and the 500 login bonus for warping to spawn) and I usually get at least one 2.5K vote key win thing, and I can also sell the notes sometimes. last time I logged in I won at least 15K, just now I got 24.5K within 5 minutes, but it takes me like an hour to grind another 25K from ways new players are playing the game

make playing the game more fun and dont give everything away at the start man, its not fun to play the game I literally just get on to vote and then I leave bc wtf do I do lol
edit: Day after this post I got 14K.
Edit: yesterday I only got 7K, but today I got 32K.

Seriously tho, when voting becomes the source of "stable income" that just shows how bad the eco is.

 

Voting is supposed to be like a little cute bonus and not really part of your income... meanwhile I went from 20ishK to 338K within 4 weeks of re-joining. (Edit: I figured it out, its been one month and one day to this post)This is only from voting and selling voting notes. And also consider that I own plots that tax me 1.8K per day.
Its dumb.

Add the Cook job. Create perks for the jobs that reach a certain level. What's the point of nerfing everything? It takes away the fun. This isn't a roleplay server that we need to impose realism anyways.

 

Players that prefer the easy money rather than working for it. We both know that the only thing "horrible" here is the eco.
Voting shouldn't really be "too rewarding". Why do you think Horne abused the voting system in the first place? lol.

 

don't vote then? learn how to make money and enjoy the game in other ways. grinding is very profitable if you know what you're doing. "wtf do i do lol"

 

"Grinding is very profitable." With the levels I have in most jobs right now, I believe this phrase is incorrect. I make little to no money with jobs, I tried grinding but it never worked out. All I do now is sell vote keys, raid towns, etcetera. It would be nice if we can make a way of making the jobs connect with the economy because it doesn't. Farming wheat and selling them has no value. Same goes with spruce logs. What's the point? Like what I always say, we need more players. People play for towny and nobody plays anymore because there are no players that is interested in joining their towns, basically, all their hard work will just be useless.

 

I make more money from people gambling, and item sales than I do from voting. And nerf voting suggestions have been accepted like a million times.

Instead of repeating pay suggestions, how do you suggest we promote playing the game instead of an easy way to make money?

I made a thread suggesting parkour prizes are raised a while ago but I don’t think there’s any response on that.

 

I dont necessarily want an easy way. I want a way that's not boring. Because if I'm bored playing a game, what's even the point of playing the game?

 

i don't really see what point you're trying to get across here. do you have a real suggestion or are you just going to give vague, "we need more players," and, "make jobs connect with the economy," suggestions? sorry if i seem rude, but i don't think anyone disagrees with you on these points. the issue is figuring out how to actually make it happen.

in addition, your subjective experience does not mean that grinding is not profitable. I specifically said, "Grinding is very profitable if you know what you're doing."

 

it's a real suggestion. who'd play in a server that has 3 players and 2 of those are pseudogod's alts? that's what i always see in my timezone lol

 

Suggesting that we should get more players does not get us more players. As I previously stated, if you have a serious suggestion that would result in an increase of our player count, please go ahead. You must remember that the reason rewards for voting are very good is that it increases the incentive to vote, resulting in more votes for the server, ultimately bringing more new players (theoretically). As far as I am aware, this system is currently working a lot better than, "we need more players."

I'm not sure. You seem to be the one that isn't having fun and the one who chose to go on forums to complain about it. Once again, you whining, "make the game more fun," isn't actually making the game more fun.

 

This is the suggestion category. What are we supposed to do? Simple, suggest. That somebody that will take action is the management and that is not us. If you think we're merely suggesting something but haven't done anything in exchange for the server, what have you exactly done that made the server improve? I agree with your point about voting getting more players in minecraft servers list. But the point of this suggestion is to decrease the amount of rewards that suggestion gives as it's completely absurd and highly exploitable. And incline to this, the economy was busted and still broken as of now, assuming a hundred unique players come in the server daily:

4,000 meebles x 100 = 4o0,000 meebles.
You can get an amount of 16k-400k daily by voting. That's around 1,600,000 up to 40,000,000 meebles.

Now, would you care to tell us why do you think voting is not broken?

 

so far for recording 3 days in a row, I've gotten 15K, 24.5K, and 14K on each day. I'll try to keep a tab on it for the time being.
