Introduction:

Hello, meepers! Here I am again, same old intro. My name's Alexia, currently and elite on Meep craft. In this crazy thing called real life, I am a dancer and I do martial arts, and occasionally you can see me on Teamspeak practicing guitar. I like to draw and sketch, and sometimes I make art using online images, similar to how Chaos546 makes her signatures.


I've been playing meep since August 29, 2013. I remember when I was just a wee nublet, asking how permissions worked, how to get to wild, and making my first town. I've come so far since that first month, and I tried out for staff. I was staff for about two and a half months, before being demoted because I wasn't professional. I did a lot of silly things, from making a minor sex ref to being extremely immature and selfish. I acting like being a staff member made me special somehow, which is definitely not the case. I regret making the mistakes, and I want another chance to be on the staff team.



Why you should be Helper?

As said above, I was helper before. I know all the commands, from long HawkEye searches to the /modreq commands. I help out in shout as much as I can, and try to never go AFK for more than about five minutes. I know I can complete any job you throw at me, to the best of my ability, and I know I can ask any questions to higher staff if I need it.


I was demoted. I made a bunch of stupid, stupid mistakes, and I think that the demotion taught me a lot. I've talked to some of the higher staff member,s looked over the tips, and realized what I did wrong. I got wore out after a bit, and I put quantity over quality, which was bad. The number of modreqs you do don't matter – what matters is that the person that filed to modreq is satisfied.


I'm ready for another chance, and I'm hoping staff members, both older and newer, give me that chance. I want to fill in the shoes of the resigned helpers.
Weaknesses:

One thing I've been working on a lot the past few weeks – Maturity. I need it. Staff are allowed to be silly, but still need to act professional. I know how to be mature,

One thing that's gotten a lot better: My pride. I was afraid to ask questions, especially when my mod applications were up. Really, I was embarrassed to ask questions, and there was no reason for it, and it could have made the job easier in the long run. I know better now.

One thing that I have to work on – Patience. Kind of self-explanatory here, but I have trouble waiting for things. I have no problem with answering the same question over and over again, but when it comes to ''I'll get it to you tomorrow'' I get antsy and sometimes irritating.

Conclusion: I know what it takes to be helper, and more so since I got demoted. I miss it, I miss the modreqs, and I miss being with the staff team in general. If I'm given this chance, I promise not to let anyone down.

You are doing what I did after my demotion, trying to apply with a better application but lowering activitity. I have heard things in ts that make me unsure you should become staff. Idk, try taking a break or something :L

Okay, I'm going to be honest here.
You are one of my all-time favorite people on MeepCraft, hands-down. It's hard to write a message here without being biased.

You were demoted for being a total jerk to everyone on the staff team, and you weren't a team player. You've made considerable progress on that, so I congratulate you. The staff team is a team, we work together, we're friends, and we all need to like each other and enjoy being around each other for everything to work well. You were the cog in the machine that made things not well as would as they should.
You've cleaned up your act, you've been nicer and more enjoyable since you realized your mistake.
You have huge potential to be a Helper, you just need to work on keeping your spammy, rude tendencies to a minimum. Every staff member has his/her faults, for me, it's the fact that I'm super impulsive and emotional. I work on keeping my impulses in check, you work on being a nicer, not so rude person.
And honestly, I've noticed you have been nicer since you've realized what you did wrong. I'm going to go with my gut here, and I'm going to give you something not many of my fellow staff members would agree with. I'm gonna give you another chance.

After seeing that report on Old_Pink, I don't think you know how harassment works.

 

Monkey, I'd like to start this by saying that you have a lot of good qualities, and you truly are an awesome person who is very dedicated to the community.

However, I am a little reluctant to +1 this application due to a few facts.

One of these is, as mentioned above, your lack of teamwork. Whilst being staff, one thing I noticed was that you never seemed to get used to the fact that we were a team. You seemed to insist on things going your way, rather than search for a compromise. While I admire your adherence to your own opinions, I truly think you never understood that sometimes you have to put aside your own feelings for the good of the team, and oftentimes the community as well. You let your hot head and sense of independence dominate your good heart far too often.

Since you were demoted, I have seen little to suggest this. Believe it or not, this actually worries me more than it consoles me. Apart from a little bit of rudeness from time to time, accompanied by some lack of judgement ever so often, you've been pretty quiet since it. The part that makes me a bit anxious is the fact that you have more or less reverted to how you were before you were promoted in the first place. This leads me to believe that you may revert to the... less pleasant version of yourself if you are promoted once again.

All in all, I haven't seen enough of you since your demotion to truly make me trust you again, which prevents me from supporting your application with a clear conscience.
