Mob Spawning

So earlier I attempted to creative a mob grinder without any spawners and when I toggled my mobs nothing happened. I waited nearly 20 minutes and got literally nothing. In towny it is very nice to have grinders like skeleton and zombie but it is so slow. With the removal of picking up spawners almost no one makes grinders anymore. Now while I understand that we cant have mass grinder farms like before because of all the things it breaks, we really need regular spawn rates to allow slower grinders for those who need the materials. The wild allows for us to collect those materials but it is so slow and painful there isnt really a point. Id really love to see the spawn rate dramatically improve in the towny world and I hope you agree. ~Bobby

 

I would absolutely love a higher mob spawn on the painfully slow zombie grinder my town has.

 

I mean the reasoning behind the nerfs was so not only newbies would die less but also to nerf these grinders

 

What materials? Nothing from mobs is really that useful

 

First Off almost all mob drops can be used for trading with villagers and bones from skelly's are extremely useful if you use them right. Also all drops in the game have a purpose even if it is dumb we should be able to get them.

Noobies should be wondering the towny wild? I don't really see why they would. But the drops can be used for a lot of great things so I think that it would be cool if we could actually effectively gather them. There are only so many spawners in the world and even at normal rate they aren't incredibly fast.
