Merging Towns

So one day I am in a tight situation either to join my friend's town or to join the other's. Then...

Idea appears.

<?> What if we could merge towns? <?>
Ik ik, this may sound like a ridiculous idea. But it would be quite useful, say you have 4 friends. Each owns a town in either Alpha or Beta. The ones in Alpha could merge and the ones in Beta could, too.
This would help everyone from picking decisions. However if one town falls, the other one doesn't. Plus you could merge up to 5 towns together (maybe more).

What do you think??

 

Umm, how would this be different from having two towns right next to each other?

 

I think it would be more of a nation type thing...
But we already have nations.

 

Lets say you have two different towns, you want to join both. You talk with the mayors and they combine.

Idk like if you had DreamCraft and Halosphere it would be Dreamsphere :/

 

I get this idea. So lets say two people have towns, but they don't want to delete one town and completely have to reclaim it in the other. So you merge towns instead. +1
