Welcome to The MeepTimes, the twice-monthly update to keep the community in the loop with what’s new, behind the scenes, and in the works.​

Server Updates
/warp bank
The bank has been removed. Players are now unable to sell and buy gold to and from the server.

Gold Signs
The spawn signs that give gold when clicked now give meebles.

/jobs browse
Typing /jobs will produce the same menu now as /jobs browse.

Mystic
Mystic has received a slight buff.

MeepTimes Contests
In this section, the community will get a chance to participate in a quick contest in each MeepTimes! There will be a 25,000 prize (from the MeepTimes writers) for one lucky winner, who will be chosen by random number generator. To be entered, just reply to the thread with an answer! Winner will be paid with the release of the next MeepTimes.

The question for this issue is: What’s the best movie that you’ve watched in the past year?

The winner to last week’s Meeptimes question was @SpongeyStar , who loves spelling random words in the YMCA song.

When did you first join Meep and what do you enjoy most about it?
I joined back in 2014 and I enjoy towny the most, like my town Sunbreak. Other towns are nice also.

You started Sunbreak fairly recently. How has running a town been so far?
It’s been great.

What’s been the best part?
The best part would be building the town.

What’s the greatest challenge?
The greatest challenge would be getting a good town staff team.

How did you choose the name and theme of the town?
The name of the town was in a book decaying sculptor gave me. And the theme, I started building in creative and just kinda came up with it.

What’s been your proudest achievement with the town so far?
Getting 11 residents.

What do you like to do outside of Meep?
Just work and school.

What’s your favorite book or movie franchise?
Game of Thrones is great. I haven’t read the books though. I like the storyline and setting.

Anything else you’d like to add?
Join Sunbreak. That’s all.

The best movie I've seen this year is Avatar... and no, I had never seen it prior to about a few weeks ago.

 

Ready Player One is by far the best movie I’ve seen in the last year. It had so many pop culture references and had so much going on

 

Eitherrrr Spiderman into the Spider verse or How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World

They're both pretty good. Just not the end of How to train your dragon 3 ;-;

 

This past year, my favourite movie has been Alita Battle Angel. The story was amazing (2 more parts to come), character progression was spot on and the visual effects and sound track were brilliant. Can't wait to see the next 2 parts

Oooh, I really want to see How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World!
Anyhow, I really liked seeing A Wrinkle In Time, and more recently Wreck-it Ralph Breaks the Internet. My favorite movie I have seen in the past year is Ballerina (or Leap in the US)
