MeepShop Sales aka MeepSales

Proposal:
On a monthly (or other frequency) basis, use the Limited Time pedestal in the MeepShop to offer an item on sale. This could be a number of different things: something unique for players to collect, or be based on an item which is currently artificially expensive on the shop (e.g. shulker boxes or elytra) to control the economy, or just a random item which isn't usually offered in the shop. Some ideas for special items below:

• Heads from the custom heads shop
• Are custom objects, maybe based on Armor Stands possible to generate from an item? I have looked around at some Bukkit plugins but am not finding anything
• God items?
• Mob statues? I did see a plugin for this, but it's outdated. However, I have no idea if stuff like this or the armor stand objects would contribute to lag.
• Some sort of custom named items? Like the quest items? With custom descriptions. Perhaps related to the history of Meepcraft.
• Items which are one time use gadgets which are otherwise only available to higher ranks (do Gadgets even work right now?)

The special item side of this suggestion could be ignored and just go with a random item or whatever instead. If I think of anything else, I can add it in. I was just trying to think of things which might be collectible.

This could get a server notification like the current "2x Jobs xp weekend!" announcement.

Reasoning:
Having monthly (or other frequency) sales in the MeepShop will provide a money sink for players to help counter inflation. As I understand it, this was a serious issue on the old server. I know other actions have already been taken to prevent this (e.g. eliminating selling to MeepShop) but I believe that creating limited items and sales furthers this goal.

With that said, this is also a fun thing to get people coming back to the server to see what is on sale at that time. And to collect limited items.

Duplicate Suggestion?
I couldn't figure out how to search Trello. So I apologize if this is a duplicate suggestion.

Anyway, just thought this could be a good addition. Feel free to make counter-suggestions or additions.

I guess this was me suggesting something already implemented then, lol. I'll try and keep an eye on that spot then.

 

I would settle for either daily or weekly, so we get more variety

 

People want to collect them all, though, I think monthly is better, personally, but it doesn't matter too much.

 

I don't mind monthly.

 

Great idea, and it is already been doing in the current /warp shop! Denied!
