Meepcraft's Birthday!!

Happy Birthday Meep! For those of you that don't know, Meep was founded 4 years ago today!! (Thank you iiTzJDL for clarifying the date lol) It's been a crazy, long, and fun ride; I haven't been here for the full run but I've definitely heard so many stories from the old days.

I want to thank everyone that plays Meep You guys are all awesome, there's really hardly a dull moment when there's so many interesting people on here! You've all made my past 2 years here so very enjoyable I can't wait for another year of Meepin' and meeting people from all over the world.

I was thinking we can post some screenshots or tell stories of any fun memories we have on Meep (kudos to people with pre-MeepNetworks screenies). We can talk about old Spawn, or great ex staff, or anything you guys like

Everything confuses me now I guess. Official release date of Meep was the 7th of 2012 (FaceBook post trivia and very well known thing back two years or so ago, but many members of that community are gone), but do we consider the 8th to be Meep's birthday? And Fuzzlr posted his "Two Years" thread on the 9th. What.. lol

Anyways, happy birthday Meep. It's been a roller coaster ride over the last (almost) 3 years. I have tons of photos (most being staff related), but they are all mostly on my old laptop which is a monster to try to bring back to life currently.

 

Woo! Weird to think that we are all (hopefully) older than MeepCraft. I remember when I was 5, I really want to go back....

Aside from it being 4 years and not 5 years, this is the best server and community out there. It's been an amazing 40 months for me, whether they've been bad or good experiences. I'm glad I have something to cling on to whenever I need to escape real life. Now believe me I sound ridiculous right now, but I don't care. This server has become a part of my life, and I enjoy it no matter what is going on.

Fun Fact: Meep actually started as a cracked server, that's why you are all confused.

Overall this server has treated me well. Gl and let's hope for another four.

I lost all my screenes on my new computer

 

I've been here for 3 years, about. I know I joined like first or second week of January 2013. (Jan 13th for towny, but I played days before that as well). I wish I could have experienced that first year. Oh well. Happy birthday Meep! Thanks for being the best reason to procrastinate on everything.

 

I wish I kNew how to take screenshots in 2012, I'd have some great memories.

I think theres 77 screenshots in here, I hadn't discovered the screenshot button until after I had played for a while. I have like 5,000 screenies in my old hard drive, And about 3,000 or something probably from 2014-now, so I only uploaded a tiny tiny amount. Enjoy.

 

Hello, I am a vintage Meeper here to correct you all on your misconstrued facts.

Meepcraft was actually started 75 years ago, back in 1941. As a young child during that time, I would come home from school to play Meepcraft while my father was off fighting in World War II.

Some days, my fellow children would invite me outside, but I could not decide whether or not to join them. In order to make a difficult choice such as this, I usually would flip a penny. However, because of the copper shortage during World War II, pennies were made from steel with a zinc coating. I disliked the silver color (the same reason that I never flipped other types of coins), so I was forced to decide on my own, which led me to always decide to stay inside and play Meepcraft.
