Meepcraft recruiting

Hey guys, Jinkeloid here, after playing Meep about 1.5 years, after seen all the changes on Meep, I decided to post here, after thinking long time.

Here is the situation:
-Meepcraft is ''largest'' town/economy server.
-I can't see many staff online (forum/in-game) or active.
-Less rule-breakers
-Less people
-Antinomy ( says that this server is for kids, but just look donation price: 10,20,40,80,160 and 320; and dicing: gambling; largest town/economy server: max 400 people online, and there are too many larger economy/town server; remove of v-shop+ admin shop: says it's bad for economy... come one, this is not real world, and why you staff are not happy when people starting to be rich? Then now you slow down the whole economy system. )
-My head when I play Meep before: !!!!$$$$$$!!! ^_^@!#!@$

I agree partially with this. I think the the server should be more open and child-appropriate, however we shouldn't take the fun from those who are not children. Don't get me wrong, I don't gamble, but I can see how some people would get annoyed if it was banned. This thread has potential.

 

I'm confused, where is the actual suggestion here?

 

And if there's no hackers or griefers, the existence of staff become unimportant, because staff exists for keep server clean, if there are no bad people, staff will kind like '' loose '' their job, so server expands slowly.

Ads are good enough.

I think the banners for the ads should be more accurate though.

I have been on just as long as you have and I feel totally different.
First off the adminshop was actually JUST revamped after being reimplemented 4 months ago
Second donations are not meant for children. Donations are donations. If they find a way to donate then so be it. If not then they're children. Sucks to be a kid sometimes. I mean I'm 16 and have donated plenty along with selling ranks.

 

Those are I called '' fact ''. You know how many games I have been played and how much I charged? More than 20 games and over 500$ (total). But still, I still come back to look my old friend Meep if there's any improvement.

Fuzzlr / some staff said Meepcraft is a server for kids. Well...do you understand what I say?

What I'm worrying is staff (helper/ mod) becoms less and less inactive, so when we need help, no staff is online or they are afk...And at the end, there are ony few staff members are helping people, other staff ( admin/ supermod/mod) are hosting event/fixing bugs/get new stuff in Meep...

 

What is the suggestion?

 

1: Please rephrase because I understood none of that first response
2: The server is a child friendly server but donations are not the whole server. Don't take my sentences out of context.
3: Staff are on way more than they used to be. Most times there are 5-7 online and even on the later parts of night in the U.S. there are still several Staff members online. The only staff team members who can host events are Fuzzlr, Onis, and admins. They generally aren't filling modreqs anyhow.

 

My problem is that almost everything you've stated to be 'wrong' with the server is severely outdated.

Currently there are four staff members online on the forums, and almost constantly there are more. However, this is so non-specific that I can't do anything until you specify.

I don't see how this is a bad thing.

Is this meant to be tied in with the one before? If so, it doesn't make sense. I'd rather have less rulebreakers and less people than more rulebreakers and more people. There's no point if having players if 90% of them don't follow them.
If it's not meant to be, it still makes no sense. We have generally more than 400 people on at peak play times, which is pretty amazing when you actually think about it.

Admin shop is here, vshop was removed ages ago, it's not a pressing issue and something similar is planned. Furthermore, I don't see why you think there's a problem with people being rich, because /jobs was added back.
The donation prices are fine, as there are tons of active donators and for the kids who can't get parents to pay for their donations, there's rank sellers.
This entire paragraph made little sense, so apologies that I missed certain points.

This also makes no sense, I don't see how the first thing is a good thing and the symbols don't clarify at all.

This is just not logical. We exist to help the server, the main part of our role does not involve banning people. It involves helping the people on the server.

This is already happening, so if it's the only actual suggestion part of your suggestion, I can move this to completed.

I think you meant 'less and less active', which is definitely not true. While we can always use more staff members to lessen the load, believe it or not, we can have staff members both doing events as well as helping with modreqs and such. As for fixing bugs and getting new stuff, most staff below SuperMod or even Admin can't do anything about those.

Like Dein, I'm still confused as to where the actual suggestion is here.

 

this isnt a suggestion. its ur opinion of the server. Just close it or move it to general.

 

My bad, I was planning to make a suggestion, but finally I don't know how to say it.

Why not logical, staff is also the police of a server, why do polices exist? Because bad people exist. No more bad people, no more police, it's like food chain.

And a question here: if you guys think current staff is already enough, why there are ''many'' bugs to be fixed and now take so long time? (some mini-games, /chest etc.)

 

My point is that that is not our only job. Are you suggesting we stop banning people for breaking the rules so that we keep out role on the server? That just doesn't make sense.

We already have advertisements running. What else are we supposed to do?

As I already said, only about a quarter of the staff team has any control over bugs and such. That quarter includes the admins and Fuzzlr, as well as btilm.

We aren't magic. Mods and Helpers can't just say 'Abra kadabra' and have all the bugs disappear. Not even the admins can do that.

 

The reason I say that is that , because I ''feel'' it takes longer time to fix something but before, staff were faster.

Seems that I have nothing to say, if you guys feel good, why I continue? I guess this ''suggestion'' is completed.
