[Mac] How to record your screen for free

Before you read all of the guide, please note that it is for Mac only.

I realize that a lot of people would like to record their screen, not just for Minecraft but other things too.
On most of the newer systems there is an application called QuickTime player. This can be used to record your screen/voice.

Step 1:
Search in Finder 'QuickTime Player'
OR
If you press the f4 key (on newer macbook pros for sure) It will bring up a page with all of your applications. By default QuickTime player should be in a folder named other. Open the folder and then open quicktime.

Step 2:
On the top bar where it shows your time and remaining battery life, it should say QuickTime player.
Click on 'File' and navigate down to the option called 'New Screen Recording'

Step 3:
A black box should appear with a record button. If you want to record voice with your video, there should be a dropdown menu. Choose which microphone you want to use and you are set!

Step 4:
When you are done, next to the wifi symbol there should be a black box inside of a circle that, when clicked, ends the recording. You can save it and upload it to any social media site after.
