If you want a gaming for PC, you will want a top notch CPU Intel skylake, i7/AMD 8320/8350 or better.
RAM is another part you will need to keep upto date. 8 gbs at 1600Mhz+ speed will do.
Possibly a SSD for fast speeds, not transfers.
GTX640 Will not cut if, im afraid, Considering this uses GRR3, most cards now use GDDR5, with only one gigabyte of ram.

For a PC, i would say a Intel Core i7-6700K (4.0 GHz). I've never had one, but I would think it works well.

    http://www.amd.com/en-gb/products/processors/desktop/fx

Make sure your motherboard can support it, most go upto 32GB/64GB so you should be fine

If you want cheap and effective you want to look at AMD

    R7 380.
Runs most optimized games on 1080P 60FPS high, maybe lucky getting ultra

You could go with the 2GB edition, but I recommend the 4GB buffer.

I plan on getting this for my pc (whenever tf I even get it lel)
    https://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-04gp41962kr

It's not the best card ever, but when paired with the 4690K that I also plan to purchase, it is pretty good for gaming and some video editing too. If you are in need of a good CPU, I would definitely recommend the 4690 as it is an amazing CPU competitively priced at $230 USD. SSDs basically Samsung FTW. HDDs go with Western Digital (Black Series). RAM is generally Kingston or Corsair. Mobos Asus, Gigabyte, or MSI. Graphics cards generally Asus, MSI, or EVGA. Power supplies definitely EVGA.

    GTX 960 vs. r9 380 battle:
FYI/WARNING: Some will tell you that the r9 380 is better than the GTX 960, while some will say the opposite. I have looked some stuff up for quite awhile now, and honestly there is not a big difference, and they are relatively the same price right now, so it's basically all about preference. In some games, the 960 will win, and in others, the 380 will win, it just depends on the game. In video editing I would probably vote AMD but once again it really depends on the rest of your system as well as the quality of video being
    edited.

Keep in mind that AMD cards are not energy efficient at all so if you have a lower tier power supply I would definitely go with a non AMD graphics card.

Personally I'd upgrade your Graphics Card as yours is getting to the out of date stage. There's not really a need to go big though if you only play Minecraft. If I wanted a PC for video rendering and Minecraft i'd use a GTX 960 which for the most part are pretty cheap. When it comes to your CPU you probably want to go with the new 1151 socket options which again you don't need top of the line so something like an Intel i5 - 6600 would do nicely. If you do take this route you will probably need a new motherboard that is 1151 so your CPU will fit, I'd go with an MSI B150A Gaming Pro which again is fairly cheap. If you plan on doing alot of rendering - such as using Cinema 4D or other animation software you'll need better RAM, the good thing about Socket 1151 set ups are that they can use DDR4 Ram. Personally I would go for 16gb as we are getting to the stage where its worth it buying more than 8gb. I personally use Corsair Vengeance RAM. Lastly a good SSD is always helpful - Samsung Evo's are generally a good option.

This is what I run in case you are interested:

    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
    Case: NZXT Noctis 450
    CPU: Intel Core i7 6700k
    PSU: Corsair CS650M Modular
    Mainboard: MSI Z170A-Gaming M7 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4
Graphics: Nvidia MSI GTX 980 Ti
    HDD: Seagate 1TB HDD
    SSD: Samsung Evo 8 120GB
    Monitor: BenQ VZ2350HM 23in
Cooling: Corsair Hydro Series H100i GTX 240mm Liquid CPU Cooler
    Keyboard: Razer BlackWidow Chroma
    Mouse: Razer DeathAdder Chroma
    Headset: Sennheiser G4ME Zero Black

Pre-builts are much more expensive. You could get better for less with a own-built. I did it for mine, I made for about £450? It runs basically all games at 1080p. I don't know what it is in dollars though.

Get a ssd atleast 240 gigs and keep your video software on it, maybe your os to

Get an 8 gig kit of ddr4 yes I did ddr4 but you will need an x99 motherboard to support it if you don't want to rebuild your pc you can get some pretty good 16 gigs kits at 1886 megaheartz ddr3

get an i5 4690k if your on a budget but if your not go all out on an i7

For gpu it wont matter unless you get something like a titan z/x

And to support all these things if your rending at VERY high settings you will need probably atleast 750 watt psu

The GPU will matter(not as much as the CPU/RAM), and he doesnt need to blow on titans, for video editing of this.
