Legacy - nations

Hello, It's Blue_Marlin again,
We all know about Gamma, and of course we all know Alpha and Beta have been joined into each other, Legacy. Playing Legacy and mainly only Legacy I want what is best for it, even though I am sad that many people are playing Gamma now I am happy that meepcraft is retaining many players. Anyways, my suggestion right now is since we are "combining" alpha & beta into one, we should allow an Alpha town to join a "beta" nation and the other way around. Meaning that any Alpha town and any Beta town should be able to join the same nation.

I think it should be allowed, if you want to call it Legacy then include both together. There should be a wild and Bank for them also.

 

We've actually discussed merging the two worlds in one way or another.
The problem with this is, as is now they are currently two very separate worlds despite running on the same plugin. If we were yo combine the worlds or data, theres a risk of completely losing everything. Even if we do that and we dont end up losing everything, there will still be data issues as many players in legacy have or own one alpha and one beta town, both will have separate people and nations, etc. If we merge the two that basically means we have to give up one or youll end up losing one world's data... And Im sure thats even further away from what you really want from this.

Okay first,

Why are you sad that everyone is playing Gamma? It's the newest thing and everyone has gotten a fair, new start. Legacy was for memory, not for taking player base away from Gamma.

With combining alpha and beta, it could be confusing because this allows a player to be in two different nations in one world. Like @Muunkee said, there is a risk of losing stuff.

Well I'm sad people are playing Gamma because I'm a Legacy fan, I want more attention on Legacy, as well as many others. I don't want people to be forced to play a specific world (I know they aren't but there are more stuff towards gamma) which I understand. I feel like there should be more options for legacy. and I understood things could come up missing so I understand why this may not work. That's why its a suggestion. suggestions don't always work.

 

You know that we can't literally stick to an economy from four years ago. Every server has resets. To me putting attention to legacy is ridiculous but I do see what you mean.

 

We could do some more stuff towards legacy that wouldn't be that hard to do. That would please the Legacy users and not so much effect the Gamma users.
