Leaving threads

In light of recent events (Eula, the server dying, ect.), there seems to be a lot of "leaving the server", "goodbye", "taking a break", and similar threads populating the forums. As of now, all of these threads are taking up space in the "discussions" forum, where they don't quite fit in. I would like to suggest a new forum category to hold all these threads. Similar to the "introductions" category, the "farewells" category will hold threads about or relating to players leaving the server. A year ago, this being implemented may have seemed unnessecary or extraneous, but with the server going downhill as it is, I feel like this might be a nessecary measure to promote the general well-being of this server and its community.

To start, the server is not dying, nor has it been the last 200 times it's been said. I also don't think it's a good idea to create an entire subthread where people can dedicate their complaints and threats of quitting, only to be seen back on the server a week or two after. A majority of threads that have been in the leaving subject had been made for only a few reasons.

1) To try to extract some consession (If X doesn't happen, I'm leaving!)

2) For attention, whether it be recognition of bandwagon joining (server is dying) or to have people respond not to leave.

I think genuine farewell threads do fit into the discussion forum, as it's most visible and it's often players wanting to say a special word about other players, or server in general.
