Just to Clarify: Voting

I've just come back from a little break with meepcraft, and am really enjoying my time back on the server but I have a question about voting. The last time I was on, the monthly top voter wining a rank, wasn't really working right? Or so I thought it was. I don't I'm kind of just confused about it.

EDIT: My question is if the monthly voter gets a rank thing is working at the moment

They have discontinued the free rank through the top voter because of the lack of recent donations. But on the bright side, you can now get 8k meebles every day just by voting.
