Java Programming

Hey there, I am currently in college right now studying computer science to be a cyber security agent and I am in my second class of java programming. I was wondering if anyone wants to learn, is currently learning or is already proficient in the language or any other programming language. I am proficient in HTML and CSS while I am learning java.

 

I'm finishing up my HTML course and I am soon going to start Java and CSS.

 

I am brand new to Java Script. :/

 

I started studying Java on my own a couple of months ago but stopped due to lack of time.

Side question: If I manage to make some time, do you think I should continue with Java or another language instead?

 

continue, its pretty universal

 

Java is the most universal language that can be used but in my opinion it is also the hardest to learn. After learning Java, most languages will probably come easier to you.

 

If I wasn't so stupid I'd learn to code

 

I do a bit of programming in c++

 

learn html, i think its the easiest and its used for most websites

 

Why would I learn how to make websites?

 

I know java, javascript and some python

HTML isn't a programming language, its a markup language, meaning it doesn't actually run anything. You can pair javascript with html pretty easily to actually program your webpage to do things.

 

I know HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Lua.

I've dabbled with Java(Due to having it in an introductory computer science course) and HTML, but would like to learn both fully.
