    Simple suggestion,

This is for compass' to be able to work in wild, instead of leading to wherever they currently lead to.
(Incase you don't know), Compass' will point towards the nearest player.

This suggestion was always denied on me because of "ultimates have fly", I feel like now that thats out the window, This may work.

This was not the only reason, another was because players go there for resources and new players will have an unfair disadvantage.
I proposed something similar with a new compass because the current one leads to the supply drop and was denied to be used in wild for that reason.

The compass in UHS leads to your bed so I believe it would be great to have the unique compass in UHS targeting players. With a reduced map size, a few less mobs to reduce lag and being able to find players you will find my playing UHS a lot more.

Only reason I'm hating is because you used the wrong form of "there"

The only issue I can see is that even though compass helps people find (read: hunt) other players, it strips the ability to be hidden from people who wish to do so. How would we make it so it works for both sides?

all the same, it's not English.
Anyway this would be good but maybe a feature that only lets you find however else is finding people

-1 Compass is for something else in wild. And it also encourages idea of hunting players which would create un needed drama, also could cause people to leave etc. Not needed and not a good idea in general. Play infected if you wanna hunt people.

Maybe make the compass move more frantically the closer you get to a person (once your within a chunk, it would stabilize at a certain speed of flipping around) so that way it only got you near another player, not exactly on them?

Only tracks other players with compasses in their inventory? That could work for both parties.

Also means the people hunting and the only ones playing (only ones who want to play, also)

From my experience as a professional HG player i found that the way the tracking was used whilst playing HG was very effective. When you started a game you were given a simple compass that tracked the person closest to you. This compass pointed in the direction of that player until you got within 100 blocks of them. This was helpful when trying to find the general area of a player but did not lead you directly to them. I believe that if this was to be added we should have at least a 100 block 'grace' so that people are not found so easily.

But overall +1 on the idea Imperfectly

I wish I had the answer for you, But I don't. I just hate it that in over 4 years of playing meep, I've never found someone in the wild without us both heading towards a certain location or using /tpa.

I just wish their was a way to make wild feel more wild.

    Edit:
Also, With the problem of people being in /dis bat or something like that, I don't see the use of having /dis working in wild? I think that if this was accepted, Removing /dis in wild would be more appropriate and easier so that people can atleast see name tags/players running towards them.

I don't understand why this would be wanted, it would cause wild to become somewhere, as the player number increases, where new players would get disencouraged as to why they got killed. Only way i would think it could be implemented is that it would be toggleable, but also compass is used for supply drop atm, so you'd have to figure out a diff way of tracking. -1 but if it was implemented it would have to be toggle l-able

If it is possible for people to be able to toggle the feature of people being able to track them, That would be amazing.

I've gotten the /supplydrop over 50times atleast and I've never used a compass for it, All you need is able to click f3.

Just because you don't use it, doesn't mean others don't. In my opinion it coulf and should ONLY be implemented if it can be toggleable. Whether you would have to toggle it off or on is the question.

Didn't say that, What I said was using a compass is not the only way to track the supplydrop.
That would be a great idea, for it to be toggleable.

Not needed we go to the wild for items not to be hunted down.
