Yeah, it's for Net Neutrality. They've had like 50 of those things already. They really over-exaggerate it in my opinion, it's more than a month away.

I've gotten it on my phone and computer, but only on meep. Which is weird.

Net neutrality is really important. It basically means that ISPs can't block what sites you go to. But, if net neutrality is removed, you may have to PAY MORE MONEY to go to a website like Youtube, or Netflix. It appears on meep because the hoster of the site is against it. Nothing meep can do to stop the popup.

I live in Canada so this doesn't affect me, but Americans, this affects everyone of you that uses the internet. Keep net neutrality!

 

It does affect you. Any site hosted in the US will be affected, which includes Meep, Discord, and many other things.

 

Actually no it really doesn't. The ISP's are the ones that can slow down the websites, not the websites themselves. Say my ISP was, Eastlink, as it currently is now.

Since there is no ongoing changes about Net neutrality in Canada, Eastlink can't slow down our servers, because it'll be illegal.

Some ISP's will slow down websites more than others, if these changes are put into place by the FCC

 

No it isn't exclusive to Meep.

 

The fact that people support removing net neutrality makes me want to move to canada, become a hermit, train a village of warriors, and re-enact 9/11 on the white house.

In a free market net neutrality wouldn't be a problem, the same government regulations you want to keep in place strangle competition.
