Introduction: Hi, I'm SpongeyStar!

My hobbies include playing Badminton, playing the piano, reading books, and of course, playing on Meep! I recently signed up for a table tennis club at our school. Also, at our recent school athletic sports, I ran the 3000m run (with my friends) I never thought I could do that, since I was quite unfit. I was very happy with myself and I felt like I achieved one of my goals in life. I love to start new things that I've never tried before, because it gives me more confidence to do other things!

My favourite subjects at school include Maths, P.E (especially Dodgeball!) and Digital Technology (We get to program robots! Fun!)
My grades at first were always in the 60%'s, and I wanted to improve. I believed in myself that I can bring that score higher, and yes I did. Now my grades are in the 80%'s. Just believe in yourself.

I first joined Meepcraft on 29th September, 2014. I joined this server because a) I loved the name b) it had parkour, which I was looking for When I joined, there were many people who welcomed me. Right then, I knew that this was the perfect server, not only for parkour, but for everything else.

Why you should be Helper? I feel that I'd be a great Helper on Meepcraft because I have the passion of the server. Even though I've only been on the server for 5 months, I have developed a love for it.

Through my time at Meep, I've learnt a lot of commands. I started getting to know the basic commands, and when new people come on and ask questions, I try my best to help them. I want them to have the same experience I had! I also know the different commands ranks can do, so if anyone needs help on that, I can answer them. I know the basic towny commands, as I have become the mayor of my own town. Many new comers are always asking questions in local, and if I'm present, I'd either answer their question, or if I'm unsure, I'd tell the person to type '/g' infront of their messages.

When I previously applied for Staff, I don't even know what I was thinking. I thought you could just write a bunch of random stuff and get in, but as I saw other staff members doing their job, I saw it was a completely different thing. You had to be dedicated, loyal, and very friendly. I wasn't that, I was barely even on much. Now I feel that I've improved. Lots.

I have fast fingers, so I'd be able to answer questions quick.

I've also never been banned/kicked (From my memory) which shows my clear ban record. On that note, I'm always in different parts of the server, and sometimes I see someone swearing or saying something EXTREMELY rude. I always just feel like banning/kicking them then and there, but I can't since I don't have the ability.

Whenever I submit a modreq, and then I ask if anyone could take my modreq, the staff say that there are too many to handle. Whenever this happens, I always wanted to just lend my hands in so I could take the weight of their backs.

My forums activity used to be very slack, but now, if I'm not in game, I'm always on the forums. As for ts, look below.

What are your weaknesses? Immaturity - I'm quite immature at times. I know this as people have told me. I try to become more mature, and I feel this would affect me being staff. Though the longer I am staff, I think I'd become more mature, as I'm helping out the community.

Shyness - Okay, when it comes to teamspeak, I'm am quite a shy person. I've never actually set foot and started speaking on TS, I'd just listen to the conversations. In general I'm a shy person in real life, but I know that I can change that. (I feel this would be a problem if I were accepted for interview.)

Distraction - I get distracted quite easily. If I'm set a job to do, I start doing it but then I just slack off and forget about it. If this ever happens to me, I will always tell myself to think about the consequences of what will happen if I slack off.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: It would be a great privilege if I were to be chosen for staff.

Spongey, your app was alright, I think it passes. I think you're wayyyy on the immature side and this REALLY needs to improve before you become staff. I haven't really seen you on TS either. forum activity is good, just be a bit more mature.

Well, I know that, I said that 'immaturity' is one of my weaknesses. And a big one. As I said in the application, if I become staff, I feel that I'd become more mature because I have the title of 'Helper' and other people are relying on Helpers (and other people of course) to help answer their questions.
