Halo is bugged.

I was sitting there for a minute with the sniper rifle bombarding an enemy chokepoint. And it kicks me for being afk.

Fix this crap please.

 

Well the game does tell you that it is going to kick you for afking long before it does. The solution to this is when ever you get that warning crouch/uncrouch and it will make the game realize your not afk. While this is an issue that halo has its not like it isn't hard to avoid.

We understand that--I think @weewoozesty 's point is that even while shooting, you're marked as afk. He proposed that shooting the gun (as opposed to actual movement) would be enough to keep the afk-kicker from kicking you.

This is phrased really awkwardly; hopefully it makes sense to you guys

AFK detection in halo works like this.
1) If you move more than one block you are not afk
2) If you fire a gun you are not afk.
3) If you throw a grenade you are not afk.

I will test the mouse click events again, but I tested this immensely before release and clicking the mouse always removed the afk flag.

Ignore meepafk telling you your afk it doesn't matter I'm working on a way to disable it in halo, the only afk that matters is when Halo tells you your afk.

It happened to me again today. I was just sitting in a place crouched to hide my name and was sniping people from a good overlook that flanked a major door.

I sat there for a minute, while firing. It kicked me out of the blue.
