Aight so I built a pc, right? I want to know by you guys' opinions if the specs on it are good.
PC LINK (The motherboard is a gigabyte 970A-DS3P, partpicker was being weird).
I'm going to buff the radeon r7 to a 970 or 1070 later in July when my birthday arrives, but that doesn't matter. Is this pc good, and if not, what do I upgrade first after the gpu?
Edit: Now that Blackjack has told me a couple of the parts shouldn't go together in the same pc, what should I fix about it?

You could have done a lot better for $900.

take into consideration the new polaris architecture by AMD as that would probably better suit your budget and get tonnes of performance. The build isn't bad considering you have the $220. I would invest in a second display if you don't already have one as a two or even three monitor setup can come in handy lots.
Another option could be upgrading your keyboard however I have an obsession with mechanical keyboards and this is probably biased

This is a year old, so yes, right now I could have done a lot better for 900 dollars. However, these are all pc parts from June-July 2015. Probably should have put that in there from the start.

if you're talking about amd's polaris for their graphics card the rx 480, I'm getting a 1070 later this summer that will greatly improve pc performance

900 dollars including the 270 dollar monitor, 120+ dollar peripheral total, etc. The actual pc build was more like 500. Plus, it was built about a year ago so the stuff in it isn't top of the line to date.

You could have done a lot better a year ago. You could have not spent almost half your budget on peripherals and instead built a decent computer. Why'd you get 16Gb of RAM and an R7 240? That makes no sense.

I didn't buy the peripherals with the pc parts, they came gradually over the next year or so. Any dumb combinations of parts are because I basically knew jack about which pc parts should go together at the time.
Besides getting a new more powerful gpu, what should I fix? I have about 100 dollars to spend.
    PC BUILD with new gpu
