Glowstone

I think with only 1 nether world for both wild and town and the added fact that alot of people use glowstone , it could help the server to add glowstone in /warp shop. Glowstone is already hard enough to get even for ults who use to he able to fly in the nether, and it could be something that could help remove money from the eco to help balance it a bit more.

 

I don't think you being lazy is a good reason to add something

It makes a market for it. Start grinding. Sell it. Get dah monies.

 

Well its not about being lazy its about it being a rare limited resources so later on when it become rare it would be a good reason to put it in the admin shop to take out money from the eco. Or start now as a nice balancer for those who dont want to risk their lives to get that little group of glowstone hovering over that huge pool of lava.

 

It's really not as rare as you think. You can get quite a bit of it. Really, I'd consider it to be only a little more rare than iron, just a lot harder to collect.

 

And the fact that its so hard to get that makes it rare. Not just the amount of it.

Glowstone is an infinite material. There is literally no way to run out of it, even in a finite world. This does not need to be added to the server shop, since you can just buy it from other players.

 

There might seem to not be a lot in the market right now, partially to the fact that everyone is either saving it up, for some awesome (maybe horribly looking castle), or they are using it on their plots or towns.

Granted some Glowstone might be more difficult to get too (the clusters in the middle of a sea of lava), but that is part of the fun in getting it. But generally, it is pretty easy to acquire a good number of blocks, ( I think personally, while looking for Quartz I have managed to collect 35 blocks, and that was with little effort).

The only items that should be added to the server shop, are either extremely rare vanity items (like @CluelessKlutz's Head), or items that you can't get through normal means in game (i.e. Mob, village, animal eggs, or specially created tools (Glass Pick)).

 

Where do I get my @CluelessKlutz head?!? Collectibles right there.

In redards to the glowstone, I'd have to side with keeping it out of the shop that way players regulate the shop. Plus, when the nether is eventually reset there will be plenty more of it so that shop would 1) Destroy the player market. 2) Have to be temporary (does not really benifit the server overall due to market affects).

 

That collectible is and always shall be rarer than dragon eggs.

 

Meaning there could be 1-2 available for possibly your best friend???

You can buy Fuzzlr head from shop but never CK Head

 

dont forget witches drop the dust and glowstone can pop up in villager trading, making it quite literally infinite
