./glide

1.9 thing for ults. Like /fly, but uses elytra gliding plus something to propell you, even going up. This has already been done in vanilla with just command blocks.

I think this would be a great idea! As long as its quite simple for techs to do, as they have quite a lot on their plate, but for a suggestion it is great. +1

 

-1, Meep is upgrading to 1.9 soon, elytra wings should not be an ult item.

 

This would likely be easy, as it has already been done.

The wings themselves anyone could get. I mean a command that allows you to do more than just glide like vanilla, but as a cooler version of /fly. I'm not an ult, so why would I want the elytra to be ult only?

 

Why would this be necessary at all though? Ultimates already have /fly, why would a /glide command be useful? And what is the point of the command at all when the wings will be available to everyone?

I don't really care about whether/not or why, I'm just talking about your suggestion.

 

Would allow you to go up. Vanilla elyra has a limited range because you can only go up a few blocks before it stalls. This would allow infinate range on the elytra. The reason I suggested this is because it would allow you to go much faster than with /fly, and it would look cool. I can see how the command name /glide would confuse you, I just used it for lack of a better name, as /fly is already used. The staff could always come up with a different name, I don't care, I just want this accepted. This would also pair well with another suggestion by someone else, /dis flying_pig.

PS: This just might be my longest post ever. =)

-1, elytra should be for everyone and if you are ultimate you can already propel yourself upwards with /fly.

 

Its an uneeded plugin that we ults already have pretty much, like u said just propel yourself by flying up, theres really no point to the plugin.
