Forums Needs an App

Okay, so @Minydragon3 and I were thinking about how the forums for Meepcraft needs an app. It would make things a lot easier for a lot of people. Instead of going into a web browser on your phone/computer, you would just get a notification on your phone if you got an alert on the forums or if somebody replied/sent you a conversation in your inbox.

 

An app would be cool

 

This has been suggested so many times. Like, many many many times. And every time it has been denied with the conclusion of; there is nothing wrong with the MeepCraft browser on a smartphone and even though it would be cool, making a Meepcraft forums app would be a waste of time.

We mean with an app, you would get notification that would pop up instead of having to open it up and check for yourself so it would be easier.

 

Oh, I'm not saying it wouldn't be easier, and cool, but the techs have much better things to work on than an app that is unnecessary.

Sometimes it's not as easy to just get to a web browser and type the IP address and then scroll to the website.
I think it would be a great addition to making meepcraft more convenient.

Safari works just fine on mobile devices, and this would just be a waste of time.

But you get different emails and I don't even use mine. I also turned my notifications off for mail on my phone. I just get junk mail 24/7

The amount of times this has been suggested.
The app itself is only going to be used for what? around 100 people?
The licensing and all the trouble to go through just to do something you can simply do on a browser is way too much.
As mentioned earlier, just sign up for notifications via email. I'm sure there's a way you can trigger a notification for a specific Sender (aka @meepcraft.com)

 

I have played around trying to program an app for meep, but it seems far too much work just so you can have a few changes.
