It's not about specific kits, or perks. It's about the obligation to the customer. That is why this isn't a donation, a donation removes any obligation to satisfy the demand of the person.

However, in this case, that person is a customer, because they brought a product. Most understand why this product is no longer available, but the reasoning still stands, they spent money, if not hundreds of dollars for a product. A product must replace the product lost, or it's simply bad business and going forward there will be doubts on whether or not to buy more products from this business.

That is why it is a sale, and not a donation.

 

I know when I'm wrong and that made a lot of sense.

 

Don't worry. I had a long lengthy discussion once about how it was indeed a donation as well. Then Fuzzlr came and promptly ruined my entire line of arguing, lol.

Do you think, if we petition and get enough people, for the people who donated for the sole purpose of kitpvp and who had spent over 80$-100$ on this server just to get that extra edge over citizens could have at least half back of the amount they donated? Because I don't want to have to leave the server knowing I donated hundreds of dollars that could have been very well spent otherwise.


Oh and regard the fact that I, and many other meepers, donated for the sole purpose of getting better kits in Kitpvp or to get better commands and better advantages and not just to "donate".

Also starting a petition will do nothing unless we had many many people sign it against mojang and even then they might just ignore it.....

 

If I had donated... er purchased... I would've charged back since it is a "purchase" and I can return my products that I received.

Giving money to a server is like buying a stock. It can be worth the investment or it can collapse. Looks like its collapsed boys.

You cannot sell a minecraft account via meep and if it is found out to be sold it can be banned.

Well now. @Muunkee. A little harsh on them words ain't we now. But hmmm...what technically is charging back anyway, and why/how can it get me banned? If I'm a good person and have a few citizens and staff vouch for me, would it still get me banned?

 

Yes, charge backs will result in a 100% perm ban. You will also then have to pay $20 to get unbanned

As Deinen said. You get automatically perm banned by the console. To get unbanned, you would have to repay the lost money plus the chargeback fee, which I thought was $10. If you arent happy with your purchase though for a legit reason, go for it. If you are, don't. How long ago did you buy your rank?

 

Maybe a year ago. I upgraded. So that means from my last bday I spent 80 to up myself. So yeah. About a year and 2 months ago. So basically what you're saying is...is that I can chargeback, get my money back, but then would have to find a new server to play on? If so, then that's like half fine with me.

 

Then you can't charge back im fairly sure. Its like a 3 month or 90 day period after the purchase. sorry.
