    Intro (info in "The Details")
After coming back to this server, I've decided I wanted to change my image this time around from a little rich-dood doing odd-jobs, who doesn't really participate much, to a person that does participate. This has inherently led me to the forums, where I now have the ability to better formulate and express ideas. Most of these on-going ideas come with a tedious and inconsiderate amount of tech work, and for that I'm sorry, especially this one seeing as it's not necessarily needed at the moment. But, I think it would be a cool, helpful addition. Anyways, here's my suggestion:
    The Details
You've probably gotten this from the title, as it's pretty straight-forward, but what I would like added is the ability for you to automatically pay people (perhaps when town / other taxes are collected) daily, bi-daily, or however often you would like. The command would work something like this: /autopay (person) (amount) (space between days) (when it stops). Putting a symbol in the "when it stops" category would make it go on infinitely. Furthermore, there should be a command to see how much you owe to people in the next 5 days. This command could be something like /payments .
    The +'s and -'s
    - Would help vacationing Meepers, or simply Meepers in general who don't want to worry about who needs to be paid and when. It would also help expand this form of payment, which is used a lot by people in the "trades", and people who expect royalties (grinder / pwarp name usage, farms, etc)
    - The only bad things I can think of are the tech work.

Please complete the Poll and Comment your Opinions and Ideas regarding this Suggestion! ;)

(I'll be honest with you guys on this one, I didn't do a lot of searching to see if this has been suggested. If it has, I am sincerely sorry! Know 1) I came up with this idea myself, even if someone else came up with it first and 2) I did not wish to waste anyone's time! Have an awesome day!)

I think this would be a great idea, particularly as i know a number of people who love keeping the town balance at a particular number, so as to everytime a tax comes around, they pay into what came out. (Particularly helpful to tax free towns) I can see it being used well, however it might need to be very easy to stop, as people may unintentionally do this and forget or something along these lines. +1

So it's like paypal, you forget that there's a recurring payment for a service you don't use anymore, but it's too complicated for you to try to remove the payments. -1, people will forget.

I feel like it is a great idea, and shouldn't be -1 purely due to peoples lack of organisation. I can agree that there may have to be some things in place such as after x number of days you have to do a command to carry on, or possibly in the command to start with you have to put a x number of days that it will run for. I feel like it has a lot of potential.

+1 . This could work very well with the /pay'ing to towns feature already in existence (/pay townsB-Craftington)

+1. Although a downside could be that you run out of money and can't pay anymore.

I think setting a number of days to run before it stops paying is a good way to prevent this.

Maybe add /payment renew to add time and /payment cancel # to cancel a payment

-1 allows towns to practically stay up forever.

What about if it's only limited to paying players? Or make it a donor perk?

is it really that hard to think?

Part of towny is towns falling. You can't take away a part of towny - or any other gamemode and have it just as good. Town raids are a massive part of playing towny, and one of the most enjoyable parts. If you're worried about your town falling, deposit money into it, don't ruin towny.

Maybe restrict/block/limit money going into towns?

And another part of towny is building towns. When we have people going around claiming towns to remake it, or have people taking all the building blocks / resources in a town, nothing new is happening. Would it not spur more economic demand to have people make their own towns or find new resources, rather than simply use ones that already exist? Besides, actively destroying towns completely takes away from what towny is all about. Is it not better to bolster one sector of the eco, whilst providing a practical service to other sectors and people, than to take away from a very small part (especially now when there aren't many Gamma towns)?
