    Reason the dungeon needs to be changed:
    I can literally go to the dungeon, open the chest(s) in the first room, go back to Alpha, put the stuff from the dungeon chests in my house, and then go back to dungeon. I freely admit to doing this for around an hour last night. I got almost a stack of tnt, and two sets of diamond armor. *note* I didn't just stay in the first room, I moved to the other rooms, but you can probably see how it needs to be nerfed.

    Counter statement:
    Fuck you 618! You want something to be nerfed! Everything in Meep is nerfed except for dungeon!

    My Statement and Proposal:
    I am very shocked that I am proposing a nerf. However, I feel that the current dungeon is too OP. I propose to have a timer in the dungeon that only lets you teleport out of the dungeon after 5 minutes is up, and to have another five minute cooldown for entering the dungeon. This is to increase the possibility of death. Last night, I had 6 creepers, 3 spiders, and a couple of zombies all charging at me, but I was still able to type /spawn before I was killed. Once you leave the dungeon, the timer would reset, i.e., you can't leave the dungeon again for 5 minutes.

    Things that would need to be changed:
    You currently need to jump down a hole to get to the dungeon. If there was a cooldown, you would be stuck for several minutes. I propose something like what spleef has, i.e. a fountain that takes you to dungeon, instead of a portal. This way, it would refuse to let me into dungeon, whereas I don't think the ender portal has that capability. Anyway, something about the portal would need to be changed.

    I understand the need for something like this, but 5 minutes is too long for the time spent in the dungeon. I have looted so much tnt and almost a stack of sponges. However, what often happens is unarmored people spawn with their 10 seconds of invincibility, see someone in god armor in the same room, and immediately leave. How would a timer address this? Are the unarmored people supposed to just run for 5 minutes? I support the idea of having a cool-down timer, making players wait a few minutes before re-entering the dungeon. I do not support the idea of making players stay in the dungeon for a set amount of time.

    I don't fully understand the game mechanics of dungeon yet, but here's my take so far:


    I think the dungeon is good as is.

    Me and two other ults (team of 3) in godstuff have a bit of difficulty not dying in dungeon from the mobs...

    Running in and out of dungeon might be highly profitable, but it's also highly dangerous as that's where the majority of pvp is going to occur.

    The only thing that is utterly bad about dungeon is the pvp
    Mobs aren't to big of a problem if you can play minecraft ;)
    But I think loot is equal to risk
