Dream Job

Hey there!
Unfortunately, I have some bad news, my meds have kicked in and that means that I am going to write what I feel like writing. The good news is, that it's not a bad topic, but it isn't about the server, it's more of a discussion to help others get to know one another.
The topic is to talk about what you want to be when you get older.
To break the ice, I'll tell you what I want to do with my life;
My name is Chris, I'm from the city of Montreal in Canada. I have always been interested in music and film as well as being backstage technician for school plays or dances or other events. I was never exactly fond of school, and I never had the best grades, until this past year. I'm in an alternate education program called "Embarkations" and since I have been here, I have been passing all of my classes. Also I forgot to mention that I am in grade 11, and I will be graduating this year. Here in the province of Quebec, Elementary school is from grade 1 to grade 6, and High school is from grade 7 to grade 11. I plan on going to cégep which is a french acronym for collège. I currently have 2 career paths that I am interested in, which is either to go into cinematography/camera work for film. My second path is to study music production for EDM. First, I will talk about my interest in film. Since grade 8 I dreamed of being in a movie. I always wanted to be in a good horror movie and play as one of those characters who dies in a super messed up way as long as I was a lovable character that would shock the viewer if he died in a brutal way. Besides, it's super fun to pretend to be scared since it really just comes naturally. However, after a couple of years I realized that my dreams of being an actor wasn't very realistic and is much harder than anyone thinks. So instead I turned to my love for film-making. I love the feeling of satisfaction after getting the perfect shot for a film. I was also very creative when it came to creating new angles to film at. Camera work seems like more of a realistic job and that is why it's my first career path. My second path is to become a music producer for EDM. I was raised by parents who loved rock music. My favorite instrument was the drums. I remember tapping my fingers to a random beat and banging on my closet door with sticks I found. As I grew up, I started hearing electronic music on the radio and just fell in love with the epic beats and noises. The first song that ever got me into EDM was the 2006 HardBass Anthem by DHHD. The kicks pounded through my body along with the screeches and HiHats that followed it. It was love at first sound, and I became addicted. I started to find more songs similar to the HardBass Anthem through the recommended list, I still listen to this music to this day.

My dream job is to be payed millions for food testing.

 

I wanna work in the food industry and maybe do some art stuff on the side.

 

my dad's a pilot

 

my dad is corporate though, so he flies private jets. he's flown many celebs. these pilots usually get payed $145,000-$200,000 anually

 

Ouch I have a couple jobs I would love to have so I guess I will rattle off my top choices.
-Demolitions expert/Pyrotechnician
-Combat Engineer (military)
-Engineer (doesn't matter what field)
-Architect
-Historian/History teacher

 

a.) Military Strategist / Technologist
b.) Lifeguard
c.) Coastguard
d.) Payed Skier


Options vary as human changes interests.

 

I'm not entirely certain what I want to end up doing yet, but I plan to major in physics and decide between:

-Astrophysics
-Particle physics
-Nuclear physics
-Theoretical physics

If I end up not sticking with physics, my next choice would be to become an evolutionary biologist.

 

My dream job is to become a veterinarian, which is an animal doctor. If that doesn't work out for me, I'll become an IT guy. My dad does that, and it's pretty cool. He gets to work with computers and networks and things.

 

I wanna become a computer hardware engineer. I like everything that has to do with it, it gets payed well and the only thing I need to major in is 4 years (bachlers) in computer science or electrical engineering.

 

Probably something in the medical field. Like radiologist or anesthesiologist still.

 

My dream job is more of a concept really, with the following included:

• travel across the planet
• work in the field with a variety of people from different cultures
• make use of my knowledge of social studies (human geography, psychology, history, government, economics)

I'm not sure what sort of job includes all this, but whatever it is I want it.

More exact jobs I'm currently looking further into:

• Museum Curator (They do events, use knowledge of history to organize displays/shows, teach kids about history, and sometimes get to travel to other countries to get exhibit pieces or for other events)
• High School Social Studies Teacher (either History, Geography, Government, Economics, or Psychology)
• Elected Official (State legislator, senator, congresswoman)

I mostly want to be busy doing what i love, so if my job doesn't require me to be engaged I will absolutely loathe it.

Right now, when I'm older I hope to be an architect (surprise surprise!!) and I wanna live in a cozy suburban town and do my work in a cutely decorated office with lots of windows while drinking tea and jamming to music. That'd be pretty sweet

 

Well I wanna be quite a few things. I'd love being any one of these:

• A cop
• Lawyer
• Stock Broker
• Anything to do wth music
• Anything to do with sports
• Something with Computing
• Business Manager

 

I want to be:

• Chemist
• Chemical Engineer
• Something that involves coding/computers
• Scientist

 

Museum curation is really cool. I'm currently a volunteer in the curation (collections) department of a museum that's located in my city, and it's really enjoyable/interesting.

 

Id like to be an architect, or maybe an accountant, or (surprise) an interior designer.

I do t do interior in mc because there are no things to design with really
