Do people play Meep anymore or is it mostly deserted?

I have not been on Meep for about a year now and thought about coming back but I first, I need to know if anyone still plays Meep or if it is mostly deserted.

 

Some people still play, sometimes we do get around 40-60 players online! But most of the time, Meep is...quiet. If you want, you can come back and see what has changed! :3

 

It's mostly deserted. It's worth popping in once in awhile if you're bored, but not much else.

 

I don't think I can remember a time when meep was super popular. It certainly hasn't died, but as an eco server its harder to come by new players. The amount of active players reduced slightly. It is worth coming back to though.

I'd say Meepcraft is doing fairly well. It would be nice to have more players interacting in chat but the player-base seems to be improving the server bit by bit. Some of my favorite examples: Mystical Olympics, the 100+ pwarps, and "/pwarp Marketstreet".

 

It's not too bad, community is a bit small and needs work but we're... close?

meepcraft is dead don't delude yourself

 

The server is pretty quiet these days but there’s a small community left. What used to be a huge cluster of people is now kind of a big family. If you want to start playing again that’s great, but if you’re looking for the active and hussling bussling server that it once was then it’s not there anymore.

 

I’d like you to come back but not sure if you’d like how empty it is now days we normally have 20-50 players online

 

Don’t come back. It will only ruin your memory of what meepcraft used to be.

meepcraft is nowhere near what it once was and there are a lot of things that can be excuses/reasons

• minecraft losing popularity
• meepnetworks, which the server has still not recovered from i would say, took a big toll on playerbase
• EULA blacklist and meepcraft admins or fuzzlr refusing to change the ranks to try and get un blacklisted
• eco and towny servers being less popular, minigames are in right now.
• lots of minor things about meepcraft that make it really sucky to join in, i definitely don't want to play meepcraft towny now. especially if i had citizen rank

i would say meepcraft is doing fairly ok despite all of this because even though the community is small there are some people here who would stick with meepcraft to the end, even if all the plugins were removed and this were a vanilla server a lot of people would stay here just because they have friends here and memories

 

The worst thing about joining for the first time is the horrible thing this server calls a tutorial. It teaches you next to nothing. The architecture to it is beautiful, but it's laggy and contains long walkways that are completely unnecessary.

 

I actually like the tutorial. It definitely doesn't teach the player a lot, but it's focused on teaching a few ideas that players can use to learn the rest: to use global chat, staff requests, and to understand that the server is an economy server. Trying to teach a player everything in one go is too much so most of it is left for players to learn from others.
