Summary of Bug: So my friend and I was walking around the wild in Alpha looking for a good spot for a new town. I came across one town and the server booted me and as soon as I try to log in it boots me out, the error is:
Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: readerIndex(9) lenght(1) exceeds writerIndex(9): UnpooledheapByteBuf(ridx:9, widx: 9, cap:9)

Its probably just your computer since Ive never gotten that error ever.

 

That's not particularly helpful. I can log onto single player and other servers just fine.

 

Try relogging, restarting your computer, restarting your internet..

delete system32 haha jokes

 

I have done all those things. Well not the systems 32 thing for obvious reasons

Would it be possible for a mod or someone to send me back to spawn? I feel like that would help for some reason.

 

You'd have to be force tp'd while you are trying to log in. If you have a friend on the server, have them ask a mod to do so and they can help you when you're online.

Metr0, I am not 100% sure this will fix the problem but in the past, having a mod force TP you is what solved it.

 

If you're still having connection issues, contact a moderator or above to assist you buy force TPing you.
