Did Luck of the Sea get nerfed a couple of week ago?

Did anyone else notice a huge change in fishing about 3 weeks ago? It was about the same time that the exp. error with regular fish got fixed.
Previous to that point I was getting a rate of 50-50 to 60-40% fish to non fish catch. That's lumping all fish together and everything that isn't a fish ( i mean, not worrying about what is a "treasure" and what is junk like a lily pad or stick).
Since that exp. error fix I am now catching 85-90% fish to 15-10% non fish.

same fishing rod, same spot in my town. I use a Luck of the Sea III rod.

Did Luck of the Sea get seriously nerfed?

 

It got nerfed, I didn't know by how much. It says here: Meeptimes #72: The Jobs Revamp Edition

 

Why yes it does say that. I must have missed that when i read that article. Thanks for pointing it out, I was beginning to think I had been cursed.

 

You should use a luck 3 lure 3 rod, lure 3 just makes it so you catch fish faster
