Daily Quests - Idea.

I as well as quite a few people find things to be quite honestly boring.

Specially once you reach Ult rank. You pretty much have nothing to work towards.

I am going to quote some threads that have addressed this issue and have offered very good ways to remedy the problem and actually give some spark to the server.

I actually had some things to add to this as well. Make it so that the tasks are able to tie in with our /jobs. Maybe special tasks for people who reach certain levels of jobs. i.e. make the payments tie in with the job levels. If you are given a mining task and are a miner already. Get a bonus to your reward that is based on your job level.

Or the same with a hunter. Maybe make it so there are mobs that have to be hunted down in the wild of certain types that will give a count to a task. I.e. Go into the wild and kill 5 creepers. Or go into the wild and kill 5 witches.

Even make these tasks tie into the minigames in certain ways like. "Participate in 5 games of Infected" or "Win 5 games of laserstrike" or "Infect 10 players as a Skeleton kit in /warp Infected" and "Kill 10 players as a fisherman in /warp kitpvp" Things that can tie into already existing features.

Sure this may be complicated to do. But it could revolutionize. If you guys truly care about the well being of your server you would at the very least let this thread evolve and develop for ideas and stuff.

I think this would make meep a lot more enjoyable to play, I would want to play a server with this.

Love the idea of being able to have a "list" of things to try to do. It'll help when people feel bored.

Hopefully this is executed in a simple way; making it complicated would be really annoying to use...

Isn't there programing and stuff to do in order to make this? So I could see why it takes some time.

 

While I am aware that it is on Trello. I feel that my idea is more in depth and better explained and lined out. Not only that but I have mentioned it a lot in-game and a lot of people seem to want this.

Many Ults who invest lots of time into this server have already amassed vast fortunes, so what good is a few thousand meebles which is earned rather slow compared to other methods. In my opinion once someone has gained enough money to get Ult, the satisfaction and goal of gradually progressing through the ranks is gone, and if the user keeps playing, their goal is to gain prestige, or become the best at certain aspects of the server. Whether prestige is gained through having the most money, having the biggest or best town, unlocking everything in infected, gaining popularity, building the best structures or by becoming staff, Ults need a goal to continue to delicately play on the server.

Especially if each quest only has a reward of only a few thousand meebles, I don't see how quests could provide a big enough goal to keep the interest of players.
