Creative showcases

Hey everyone!

So this idea is something I've been thinking about for a while. Tbh I'm not sure how everything would go down but this is what I'm thinking. With this whole new creative thing going I thought that it would be cool if every month, a certain amount of builds in creative get showcased directly outside the creative spawn. Each month staff/architects would go around creative just checking out builds and then would sub out different builds each month. Granted, I know that since creative has gotten so big that it would be extremely hard to look at everything. The reason why I thought of this is that I personally think this is a really cool way to discover new builders. I remember when I first started building in creative and wanted people to see the build, It was really hard to get people to tpa. So with this we could find new builders fast. If you guys see anything wrong with this idea, please bring it forward. Like I said, this is a rough idea and I haven't thought through everything.

While this idea is great, I think instead of architects seeking builds in creative every month, architects would ask builders in creative to post where there builds are every month, and they can look at them and decide upon what the "Showcases of the month" would be. This is a pretty cool idea, and it would be interesting to go and take a look at what the top builds are. What would happen is an architect would copy people's builds and paste it by spawn. They would put up a sign saying who did it, how you can look at the original and what's the name. This idea is really nice!

 

This showcase area will have great builds we see in it and it will change often. We will also have some contests to get your builds in these spots. Stay tuned...

PlotSquared has a built in ranking/voting system for plots which could easily be used for this.
