Connection Issues

Is anyone else experiencing severe lag on the server? This only started yesterday that I am aware of, (I only play on weekends) and has continued into today for me. Any time I execute a command whether it be a global chat message or a warp, it takes about 15 seconds to execute. Mobs appear frozen for moments at a time in the wild, but once it refreshes I find I am quite damaged by their attacks. Below is a ping test, I don't know if that is useful. Strangely, other games and loading web content run quite speedily.

I haven't been getting any lag whatsoever but damn 1221 ms is a massive oof :/

 

Yeah it quite sucks, I like the server a lot. It's definitely not an fps lag as I get about 700.

 

did u try reboot computer / router

 

He said the rest of his computer is working smoothly, so it shouldn't be the router or computer

 

could be tho, did you restart Minecraft?

 

I think it is safe to close this. I don't know what is causing it but it seems like 50% of the time it is good enough to play. Hopefully it resolves itself. Thanks guys!
