/channel

Add a command that allows users to change their default chat channel from local to global, world, town chat, and possibly message. It's not really a necessary feature, but it would be cool and convenient.

 

Hmmm. As far as i remember, in Old Meep when you typed "/tc" or "/shout" it locked you in this chat. You suggest this/something like this?

This is not necessary. Chat is already made to be quick and easy. Just type /g, /pm, /tc, or /nc in front of your chat. It's a few characters, it wouldn't kill you. Also, there is already something to msg the last guy that you msged, so you won't have to type his name in again.

As for locking yourself into local chat, that is really unnecessary, for you just have to type in your chat without any special commands.

This worked before, you could lock yourself in /g or /shout, +1.

Exactly, you said that it was not necessary. This would be a bad way to use staff time, especially with all the things that need to be fixed. *cough cough* boomo.
