Seriously though, layout is terrible

 

On a legit note I wish the preformat was gone. It really confines what we can write. I had a hard time editing and making revisions to it while making sure it stays in format. I am not sure what the reasoning behind the preformat is because I wasnt on the team when that decision was made but I feel if someone can't figure it out themselves they probably aren't suited for staff.

 

Let's just deny all applications and have an automated help system that deals with everyone's crap.

members don't have any say on who becomes staff so just chill and let them do their work.

I trust that the higher ups will promote wisely.

 

Without members there would be no server, so I wouldn't devalue the regular members too much.

Not everybody is like you, and maybe not everybody trusts the higher ups as much as you. I'm not saying I don't and I'm not saying I do. But trying to censor people when just having a simple suggestion is completely unfair, and it's not like he was degrading anybody.

 

If staff members make the final decision... Why let us vote at all?

Thats like choosing dinner, and all your siblings say they want pizza hut but your parents want mcdonalds and they buy it for everyone in your family, even though some of your siblings despise mcdonalds. (I make analogies so I can bring it down to everyone's understanding)

Does that make any sense to not cater to everyone's opinion? (although it's just food in that case and all food is good)

 

because if a certain candidate gets overwhelming community response, or a underwhelming response, then the staff might be inclined to vote for that person.

 

Guys demote all staff and choose 50 random banned people, unban them,and give them admin

First off I think staff should be the ones making the decisions when it comes to who they want to work with. As a player that should not be a concern at all. Players are not going to be working with these staff members on a constant bases. You could say that '' well I am going to be helped by this person'' but that argument is out of the questions sins we have high staff that should be there to take care of issues like these. If a staff does something that is out of order then high staff will respond to that person. Don't take me wrong, I think it is great that players come with input but I also think that input should be used as facts about the player not as votes if that player is getting the job or not. Also it kinda shows who is who if the players rages and posts on their own app........

We are customers of meepcraft and as customers we can come with input, but we are not the people with the final decision. And that is how it should be
