Ooo okay I'm not sure what kind you like, but if you're looking for soemthing kind of weird, check out Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut. If you haven't read it yet, read the Fault in Our Stars by John Green. Robinson Crusoe is a great classic about a ship voyage. And if you're lookin for something spooky, check out The Shining by Stephen King (spooky! not kidding!!). But my favourite way to find books is to just go to a library and ask for recommendations from the librarian 8) let me know if you read any of those, they're some of my faves. :)

I watched the movie, my Mum looooves it, and I had nightmares...

But thanks for the suggestions, I haven't read any of them but I've heard of most of them so I will get to it!

I would ask the Librarian but it's the school holidays, and we have about a month left :)

Anything by Orson Scott Card, or Ready Player One by Ernest Cline.

Apparently I have a very questionable selection of books, but I don't read a lot so whatev.
There's this one sci-fi/fantasy series that I LOVE it's called the Lunar Chronicles. It has four books: Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, and Winter with an addition extra book as a prologue called Fairest. As you can probably tell from "Cinder", it's based off of Cinderella, but only very loosely and with a ton of science fiction tied to it. I won't spoil anything, but the story comes together really well and you learn to connect with the characters A LOT.
Go read it, it's definitely worth a try.

I've always enjoyed Ranger's Apprentice, Ender's game and all affiliated books (idk if they're a series or what, but basically everything by Orson Scott Card), umm let's see... I can't think of any books, darn it! I haven't really had a chance to read since school started... Well, you could always read Sherlock Holmes (all of them), and the Iliad and the Odyssey are classics (from the classical era, I think), The Art of War (although it's less entertainment), everything by Rick Riordan, particularly that which pertains to Percy Jackson.

A book to stay away from: Into the Kingdom of Ice. I won't spoil it, in case you don't heed my warning, but it is the most depressing book I have ever read. It's a true story too, which makes it worse. But if you like the whole non-fiction thing, I'd recommend Survive the Savage Sea, and Into the Rising Sun (a collection of stories from WWII vets of the Pacific Theater), or Into Thin Air.

If you like Science, you could read A Brief History of Time, by Stephen Hawking, or The Extravagant Universe (or Our Extravagant Universe, I don't remember).

Anyway, I'll post more if I think of them.

I don't know what kind of books you like but, I recommend "The Hunger Games", "The Fault In Our Stars" by John Green, and the one i'm reading at the moment "The Perks Of Being a Wallflower"
These are my all time favorite books:)
