Being able to kill afk players in infected

So earlier there were some people afk around the map and nobody could kill them. They won. Which wasnt fair at all. We need to add the ability to kill people while they are afk like in uhs. This will take a load off the helpers and allow players to get their well deserved coins

 

I'm pretty sure it's against the rules to afk in infected.

 

Yeah, it's illegal. Next time, file a modreq and a staff can kick them.

Aside from that, maybe making a plugin that, when you are idle for a set amount of time, you will be kicked or forced out of the game is a good suggestion.

I completely agree with this. I myself was forced to go AFK during Infected, and won because of it. It is an exploitable glitch for anyone. They should disable the plugin or change it. My idea for a change would be set a timer for inactivity. If you are inactive for a certain amount of time, it registers you as AFK and sends you to the minigame's spawn.

 

If you need to go afk, you should leave infected for a bit. Usually when you file a modreq about it the staff can't get there in time before the game ends, as they're busy with other things. This is not the staffs fault because the game only goes for a few minutes, and there may only be 30 seconds or so left when they afk.

 

This assumes the player is honest and actually has to leave. I've seen people abuse the AFK plugin by sitting there while "AFK" so they can't be hit.

 

What the staff should do is just add the command /afk instead of letting the server decide if the player is AFK or not. An incident happened in KitPVP once. I was chasing down a guy and he immediately stopped right in front of me, and the server put him as AFK. It was ridiculous because no one could kill him. I've also played Infected and CTF where players are AFK, and in Infected, it is not fun at all when there's an afk player on the Human side.

Just get rid of the plug-in and add the command. If they spam it, add a freakin cooldown timer to it. Just make sure it cannot be allowed in any of the mini-games.

Being AFK in minigames at all more than, like, 10 or 15 seconds should be a kick.
It shouldn't be immediate because I COULD just simply be standing still. But 10-15 secs is enough time that I've left my game enough that it's unfair.

 

To be honest with you I think that the AFK plugin should be completely removed from the affected because it is your responsibility to leave the game whenever you know you're going to go do something you know you're going to be AFK if there's no just shut off the moment going away You're going to know that you're going to be AFK so if you're worried about your kdr or win lose streak you should know whether or not you're going to be able to play or not.

 

I agree with most of the previous statement, but disagree we should remove it. Simply put, when you have to go AFK, it's usually unexpected and therefore cannot be planned. I do think it needs to be modified or removed completely from all minigames. Often, it's to run to the bathroom, then it takes more time to reconnect to the server than it would to just leave it.

 

i agree with that if your going to be afk you should die from it lol
